Awesome and peaceful stay
1. Location: Place is located approx 10 Kms before Almora. Nearest point is Karbala if anyone going through public transport. The road is proper and last 1.5kms is off roading and need good 4x4 Vehicle to cover. Resort team sends their vehicle to the village from where the off roading starts.
2. Place: The resort is right next to river Kosi and covered by lush green hills. It looks like a movie set. One can feel the peace and hear the sound of beautiful river flowing.
3. Food: The food is very delicious, I would like to thank the kitchen staff for such good meals for us. The menu is limited but they can cook as per need if we tell in advance. Specially non veg as they need to get it from Almora town.
4. Staff: Dinesh team is very polite and supportive. A special thanks to Dinesh and Manoj who were there all the time during our 3 days stay. They were always ready to help.
5. Rooms: Rooms are spacious with all basic amenities except AC's as it is not needed. They have two decks which have double occupancy, 4 people occupancy and dormatory as well. Common room is there where one can read books.
The resort is kid friendly and will be more fun if you are in group.
Also, Dinesh is a certified hiker and mountaineer and one can take him for a small trek to river and nearby hills.

Lovely location, very peaceful, excellent service
The owner Kunal is a very friendly and cheerful chap. He showed me the different types of rooms on a video call so I could decide where to stay. The manager Abhinandan took really good care of us: extra duvets in the cold, heater in the room, food was always ready in time, and we even had a little picnic by the river.
The location is not suitable for a normal car, you'll need a 4x4 if you want to drive all the way. Don't worry if you have a normal car though, there is a place to park your car in the village, and they have a 4x4 to pick you up from the parking place and take you to the property (a few minutes' drive away).
All in all, a superb place. Highly recommended!
