A great place with wonderful hospitality
The villa is well maintained and gives a feeling of home. The hosts are very kind and helpful.The villa is so neat and clean with all facilities. The complementary breakfast has good number of choices and tastes good. It was a great place to stay for 2 nights.

Beautiful facilties and surroundings
This is a great place to go to escape from the hustle and bustle of cities. It is peaceful and quiet and surrounded by breathtaking views especially during the wet season which is when I was there! There is much to see in the surrounding Wayanad area making this a very worthwhile trip. I suggest staying a while to take in the surroundings and having a chance to relax. The owners of the villa are accommodating and lovely people. The rooms can not be faulted, they are kept clean and have everything you need. If you don't speak the local language I suggest asking advice from the owners of how to get there and get around in general. It is well worth making the trip! If you have made it here you are definitely experiencing the local culture!!!

Well maintained and wonderful hospitality
The property is well maintained built in Kerala style. The host is very kind and helpful. They offered a room in their house when the serviced villa was full. They prepared veg breakfast on our request and also offered Jack fruit as our farewell gift.

A great place with great hosts..
it was our first family trip to Kerala. We were having an average expectation about the facility at the time of booking. But after reaching there, what we got, was a very happy, beautiful, very clean and well maintained facility. It far exceeded our expectation.
The hosts :- Mr Selvin and Mrs Lovely, are very warm and they treated us as part of their own family. They were always ready to help and support us for what ever we wanted for my family. The breakfast was very good. Even, they provided nice home made food.
if you have your own vehicle for moving around, this is the place to be in, as lot of tourist attractions like Edkale cave, pathom rocks, beautiful RARS and 2 waterfalls are nearby.
It was a great place to be there for 2 nights.

A Comfortable and Tranquil haven for travellers
A couple with three kids ventured out to see the beauty of God's own Country (Kerala) and the destination Waynad. We could have booked a resort but were looking for a place to stay where kids can explore the natural beauty of Kerala and stay in a homely, safe and secured environment. To our advantage we found the name Beth Haran on trip advisor and chose to give it a try. Today after staying there for five days, we can testify that we had the best experience of our life. The service, the care, the approach of the owners towards us was fantastic and our kids returned back to Bangalore in awe of the love they received from the owners of Beth Haran.
Beth Haran is located exactly one kilometer from the Ambalavayal Police Station. The road comes down hill and as you roll down in your car you can enjoy the architectural marvel of Kerala Homes around. Beth Haran is surrounded by hills all around. The moment we enter we are welcomed with warm smiles of the owners. The flora in and around the service villa is amazing, with flowers & trees that will capture your attention very strongly. Believe me there is a small lotus pond in the facility and there are fishes too. Our kids enjoyed a lot looking at the fishes and playing there.
We were taken to our rooms. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They have very good split Air Conditioners, Intercom, every room has a separate Cable TV with individual Dish Antenna & Flat Panel Television. The lobby, the room, the toilets were so clean and so well maintained that we thought as if we were the first customers to check in to that villa. Later we realise that its been there for more than three years but the owners do a wonderful job of maintaining it. The room area is very secured with nice gate outside and also a CCTV camera is installed in the lobby area for surveillance. They infect have a dining room and they provide breakfast - and other meals on request. I forgot to mention the FREE WIFI in the hills of Wayanad helped us to be connected to our friends back in Bangalore.
Mrs. Lovely John prepares amazing Kerala cuisine, our kids were delighted to eat, puttu, iddiyappam upma, kadla curry, chicken biryani, and many other authentic Kerala delights. As the food was less oily and they took care to make it with less chilly on our request. I should not forget to mention that every cup of tea or coffee we had was an experience outstanding to our taste buds.
Mr. Selwyn the owner works hard to keep things available for us as and when required. He also took care of us a loving father would care for his kids, whether early morning or late in the night he was there whenever we just called him. The kids liked the entertainment they got and the encouragement to eat every meal with joy. Uncle Selwyn also helped kids to break mulberry fruit from the tree and preparing the swing for them to enjoy rest within the facility.
The architecture of the service villa is authentic Kerala, you will love to sit in the covered car park area, or just stroll around the campus. The jackfruit trees with loads of jackfruits, pepper, coffee plantation are few which you can't miss out being there. The water comes from a fresh water well. We even enjoyed washing our car after a long drive from Bangalore. All the kids participated in the fun as we splashed water on each other.
Places near Beth Haran:
The Karapurzha dam is just 5km from the villa, Eddakal caves are 5.5km, we just drove around the place as the hills, the flora and fauna around capture your heart and you just don't want to leave that place. You can travel towards meppady from Beth Haran which is around 35km from there and enjoy the scenic beauty of tea gardens and Switzerland kind mountains around. The view is breath taking. We even drove till Lakkidi to view the Cheram View point and could see Calicut thousands of feet below. Kids enjoyed boating in Pookode lake, also went to Kanthanpara waterfalls. Kuruva island was last in the list as the beauty around Beth Haran was not allowing us to venture out much. My wife and I walked early mornings and in the evenings up and down the hill and could feel the difference in our health in five days. Kids were safe under the observation of Mrs Lovely & Mr. Selwyn at Beth Haran.
Like all good things have to come to an end, so did our trip at Beth Haran. It was painful to depart, for all the love and care we got in five days. Now the owners were no more owners but have become good friends as life brought us near them to know them so closely and experience love and care of a very high standard. We feel were are blessed we chose Beth Haran as our stay option.
We as a family and with kids of age 7yrs, 6yrs and 4yrs would strongly encourage you to book Beth Haran for your next stay in Waynad. I am sure you will experience more than what all you have read, the experience is mesmerising (so close to nature). It's still hard to believe that such haven exists in Kerala and we could be part of it.
