Excellent Staff in a Great Hotel
I stayed 3 nights earlier this month. I had flown from Delhi but my suitcase was not put on the plane. (I absolutely do not recommend Indigo Air at all, they take your money quickly enough but there is Zero after sales service) I only had a UK number and was told by Indigo that I'd get a call. No call came. I couldn't call the number they gave me to speak to anyone as it was an Indian number. The evening staff member on Wednesday 5th November was excellent. He kept calling the number for me from his personal mobile chasing my suitcase. The suitcase was on the 6.30 flight then the 8.00 flight, according to Indigo, but of course it didn't come and of course they didn't call. In the morning another staff member again called and eventually they delivered my suitcase. The first evening it was too late to go and eat out after waiting so long for my suitcase (which didn't arrive that evening anyway) so I had room service. The Biryani was excellent. The breakfast was also excellent. I took room service again on my last night. My room was really large with really good WiFi, air conditioning and a fridge. I really liked it here. It was very stressful not having my suitcase and nobody telling me when it would arrive. But the staff kept me going and were fantastic. Thank you Hotel Hong Kong Inn

Hotel HongKong Inn . The name is unique as it located in Amritsar Punjab. But the hotel its location its services and the rooms everything is pure Indian . We have stayed there for a week. We have booked there new renovated room. Nice new rooms with plenty of space and clean hygienic washroom.tasty and fresh food they provides us round the clock and helped us in every way to book taxi and tickets as well.

Worst Experience
WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE – Unsafe, Dirty, and Full of Unprofessional Staff
I rarely write reviews, but the horrifying experience at this hotel needs to be shared to warn other travelers, especially families and solo female guests.
From the moment we checked in, the staff behavior was disturbing. Two of the room service boys, Pardeep and Ram Singh, were clearly drunk while on duty. Their behavior was uncomfortable and extremely unprofessional—lingering around rooms unnecessarily, trying to make conversation with female guests, and showing no sense of respect or boundaries.
Even worse, there were inappropriate phone calls made to our room late at night, clearly targeting female guests. It was clear that some staff members were watching the women in our group and trying to take advantage of the situation. We no longer felt safe in our own rooms.
When I tried to raise these issues at the reception, I politely asked for the receptionist’s name, and he rudely refused to share it, showing a complete lack of accountability. His arrogant attitude just confirmed how poorly this place is managed.
On top of all this, the rooms were filthy—smelly, full of dust, and the bathroom had old, rusted taps with dirty tiles. The entire place reeked of poor maintenance and zero hygiene. Bedsheets were stained, towels were unusable, and the furniture was broken.
The food was equally bad—cold, stale, oily, and clearly prepared without any cleanliness or care. It was honestly inedible.
This hotel is not just bad, it’s dangerous. From drunken staff, to creepy behavior, to unclean and uncomfortable rooms, this place is an absolute disgrace. Please do not risk your safety or peace of mind by staying here. This is one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve ever had.

Cheap and it shows. They did sort out the aircon and the blocked shower but only after they tried to put us into two rooms not one.
