Conclusion: For a few more dollars you can get something better. If you can fix main weak points previously, could be a good option.

good hotel for a night stay
first off the staff is quite well mannered and cooperative
the rooms are good. pretty basic. but were very comfortable considering that we had been travelling for 9 hours.
we got a limited menu for the food and it was made available in the room at a nominal price. the food was very good and the tea especially was excellent.
the upkeep of the hotel can be done in a better manner. better cleaning and cleaner sheets would be a welcome change.
overall, it is a good place to stay at 1000 a night and it being just on the outskirts of the city helps a lot if you just want a good night halt en route to jaisalmer.

Our short stay at Hotel Jyoti
The owner, staff were wonderful people. We were invited to take part in the Lakshmi Puja in the Hotel premises.
The hotel was very neat and clean.
They serve mouth watering veg dishes in a spacious restaurant.
The staff were very friendly persons, ready to help with a smiling face.
Location of the Hotel was very convenient, just on the highway..the fort was nearby to the hotel.

Neat and friendly!
rooms are very new, neat and spacious. the people were friendly and ready to help. The owner was very sweet. Infact he went all the way and offered to drop us back in the bus station and helped us shop for some famous Bikanari Bhujjia on the way!
