Highly recommended

After being sorely disappointed at a so-called 5 star hotel, I chose this hotel based on a recommendation. I was not disappointed.
Check in was quick. I had a room on the third floor and it was amazing - a huge room and bed with a lovely modern bathroom. As I arrived quite late, I was hungry and looking for a place nearby to eat. The staff recommended a biryani place and Karthik even ran out to get it for me. Even the two security guards outside were super helpful - whilst waiting for an Uber ride at 4am, they waited with me looking out for the driver, making small talk, helping with my bags etc. Really impressed with this hotel and if I am ever back in Chennai, I will be back here!

Room neat and clean. Front office staff do not have any idea of how to go to the city from there. They say complimentary breakfast but it id limited to 1 idling, I small Dosa one a small portion of Pongal. They even don't serve coffee and say they have brought food from outside so no coffee.
No restaurant onsite and ask you to book from one hotel far away which is too expensive
Told hhem gthat there is a leakage from the toilet flush but thdy don't mind

Customer service by the receptionist

The customer service is terrible for K Square hotel. Clarify about flexible check in before you go. They charge a bomb for checking in before 12pm. They talk very rudely. The lift doesn't work and the picture of the hotel is fake. You need to enter from a narrow door, reception is shabby. Better to avoid this hotel.

Went with confirmed booking, but no rooms and no refund so far

On Aug 23rd booked for 2 nights at FabHotels K square , Chennai for Aug 28-30 and prepaid in full and received confirmation by email. When arriving at the hotel on the 28th at 10:30PM, reception told me that there is no room, fully booked. After calling Fabhotel customer hotline( spent more than 2 hours to reach them over phone), they informed that they will refund in 5 to 7 days, but no email confirmation for that. Sent many reminders and no response. Until now, no payment or email received.
Fabhotel simply refused and left us on the road at night, looking for another hotel. They are unreliable. Do not recommend to anyone.
