Decent accommodation at affordable price

The hotel is located right at the bang off the Purasawalkam High Road. It is the very first property in Vellala Street with limited parking space. You need not have to worry about the food or connectivity since bus stops which is connecting most part of the cities are situated as close as 50 metres to the max of 200 metres. You will find not less than 56 bus stops in the vicinity.
Icing to the cake is the presence of Hotel Saravana Bhavan on the ground floor which means you are never away from having an awesome experience when it comes to having the best food. You also have other alternatives like Welcome Hotel.
Since Purasawalkam is the mini T.Nagar, you will find all major brands in jewellery, textiles within 1/2 kilometre radius.'
The rooms in this hotel are well maintained and you get 24/7 service. Medical shops and hospitals are close by and hence you need not have to worry during the emergency.

~ Center of what ever is good

Old building, but clean & tidy, customer service is not that bad,
Download the Mobile app Uber, for travel purpose and don't take a rickshaw from stand, they are expensive, and are waiting just for the foreigners. so better to get one from main road,
this place located in front of a Pharmacy whichs open is odd hours even on late nights,
also with a restaurant for vegetarians.

Improved with time

We got off to a bad start here as the person at reception was very abrupt and rude. We had booked a delux room but they had not held our booking so it was a basic room and basic it was. There was no toilet paper provided and we were told to go and buy our own. When the owner appeared he apologised and sent someone out to buy paper. It was not overly clean. The best feature was the adhacent restaurant which was really good.

Very bad place!I would never recommend!

The hotel is located in the very poor and dirty city area.We arrived late at night and we were so tired after the horrible flight to Chennai with much turbulences.We wanted to have rest as we also had bad situation arriving for the first time to India ,when we were changing money we forgot one of our passport in the exchange office. So it took us much time,money and efforts to come back to the airport and take it back.So as you understand we were so shocked,tired arriving in this terrible hotel.When we entered there was really bad and not fresh smell. We didn't change much money as at the airport it was too bad to change much regarding the equivalent. So we asked the hotel receptionist to help us if we can pay tomorrow for the room just we need to find the exchange office in the area beside the hotel and we offered him to leave dollars, but he was completely refusing like he has never seen dollars in his life,this made me to think wild about him.When he asked to leave the passport for him to make a copy of it. We said okay,make a copy and give us back,he said he doesn't have a copy machine,he will go tomorrow and make it.We were surprised how in the hotel on the reception there is no place to make a copy.We didn't want to leave our passports sure,as we have that situation at airport with the passport. At the airport! So how we could leave them at the hotel!Sure we said no!And he appeared so impolite person ever he replied that he wouldn't accommodate us!That made the worser impression ever in my life about that place and India overall!We left a place at night and he didn't even regret throwing us in the middle of the night on the street.The worser place!I do not recommend staying there!
