Best and cheap accomodation in chikmangalluru

If you are big group/looking to stay in chikmangalluru town area, pocket freindly option- The grand kubera. Rs 1200/- Non ac and 1500/- Ac rooms you can grab it. As im a group tour operator i always prefer kubera in chikmangallurru as its in main road itself with ample parking our buses.

Budget Hotel

First of all, the name is a misnomer. It is not exactly a "Grand" hotel. But it is a decent property which is now under OYO. It is not a very fancy place and overall gives a very average experience...

The Lodge fighting Hospitality

First off this is not a Hotel it's a lodge. They don't have the slightest clue of what it means to be in the hospitality industry. Their staff is the most obnoxious bunch I've ever come across. Their linen isn't clean. My wasn't even swept. There was hair lying under the sofas. They're very busy calling you up to remind you to get out even if it isn't check out time but they couldn't bother checking you in a little earlier if your transportation happens to arrive early in the city. They couldn't be bothered about helping you in any way because their simple answer is that they don't know anything. I needed to leave my backpack at the reception as I was heading out before my bus in the evening, but they outright refused us saying it's not their job. "Talk about going the extra mile". If you want to stay in a place with nefarious and rougish staff you got it!

Denied check-in and front desk too rude

Had the worst experience here. The front desk was rudest ever. Oyo had some payment issue with this hotel, but that doesn't mean the front desk has to be rude to the customer. Try denied check-in and did not even provide any help in this regard. I would suggest everyone to skip this hotel or call before check-in..
