Best hotel in dahanu
Amazing experience guys! This place has an ambience like no other in dahanu. Their food is just superb and their rooms are also quite decent. Do not forget to try their crab tandoori and chi Kashmiri kebab. Would recommend to all.

Nice hotel
Hotel is nice and our stay was comfortable....Good clean rooms..Helpful staff...Good tastey food ..Good service...Reasonable rates... Recommend for staying in Dahanu.location is near the Dahanu beach about 5 min walking distance....

Stay for the food, nothing else
Beach Classic, Pearline and Sea Crest are the three major hotels along the Dahanu-Bordi road, overlooking the beach, where almost everybody who visits Dahanu comes to stay. Staying at any one is an interchangeable experience, in that you'll find decent rooms and excellent food, but horrible, horrible service. The owners of these hotels, it seems, exchange notes on ensuring that each hotel doesn't improve too much or get too bad so as to give the others a fighting chance. Beach Classic wins in terms of hygiene and cleanliness and feels more like a business hotel in terms of size and lay-out, while the other two hotels are spread out over a significantly larger area, with greater amenities and appear more family-friendly.
1. All three hotels ask for a deposit at the time of booking but Beach Classic was the only one which willingly accepted half the amount upfront and the remaining amount at the time of check-out. The other hotels insisted that the full amount be paid in advance (and even God can't help you if you cancel and try to get your money back). Also, Beach Classic is the only hotel which doesn't charge a higher rate and then justify it by giving "complimentary" non-refundable food coupons which can only be redeemed at their own restaurant. One point to Beach Classic for not trying to rip me off.
2. I selected Beach Classic since it was the highest rated in terms of hygiene and there are some absolute horror stories about the cleanliness standards in the other hotels. On that front, Beach Classic delivered. We had a Deluxe Room, which was compact, neat and tidy and cleaned on a regular basis. The bed was queen-sized, and blankets and sheets were spotless. Bathroom was large, with sufficient provisions like soap, towels and shampoo. There was a balcony area with a delightful swing, which didn't snap under the strain of my fat posterior. Great place to sit and enjoy the view.
On the other hand, the TV in the room was a CRT from the pre-liberalisation era, although cable was provided. Hot water (or more accurately, lukewarm water) though was a big problem, as the Hotel has a centralised heating system which started early in the morning, and only for a short couple of hours. I witnessed multiple fights between the management and customers (several of whom had gone to the beach in the evening and rightfully refused to go to bed covered in sand or to have a cold-water bath in 15°C temperature in November) about this issue. We were subsequently told that the hotel was being renovated and that 24-hour water-heating systems were being put in place so credit for atleast acknowledging the customers' complaints.
Also, there are no other amenities in this Hotel, apart from some swings and slides for children in the common lobby area. Both Pearline and Sea Crest are much larger in terms of area and have swimming pools for the guests. Still, the rooms were clean, spotless and quite cozy. So that's one point for the room, rather than the Hotel as a whole.
3. The food at their restaurant is fantastic. Well presented, freshly-made, incredibly tasty and flavourful, of substantial quantity and with high-quality ingredients. Their meat dishes and coastal food are especially recommended.
The main restaurant area is meant for families, although liquor is also served there, with a smaller, more intimate area at the side with plush seating for the heavy drinkers (although there was a constant stream of boors who sat in the family area and who obligingly made fools of themselves, mostly after the third round of drinks). One point for the food.
4.The service at their restaurant, and the rest of the hotel, is horrendous. Simple orders, like a breakfast of tea and poha, took 20-30 minutes to arrive. Lunch and dinner was even worse. One of my lunch orders (a soup, a starter and a main dish, no more) arrived after 50 minutes. My beer arrived after 15 minutes and constant reminders, even though I was sitting right next to the bar. There is practically no room service, although they beg to differ. You need to beg and cajole the servers to deliver items to your room and if they do, expect them to linger around expecting a little bit of extra gratitude. The servers themselves are surly or completely clueless. Minus one point for the antiquated service.
The only ray of sunshine is that their managers are cooperative and cordial and try to make the best of the situation, although even they seem to know how crappy their service is. The owner also seems to be a decent bloke and we had a couple of nice chats with him. Half a point for management being polite, which the other hotels severely lack, although that doesn't do much to improve the quality of the stay.
Overall, the experience at Beach Classic was just about average, with the food and the cleanliness of the rooms being the only positives. This review would be much more savage if they weren't renovating the place with a view to resolving customer complaints about amenities and service. Go here with friends, rather than family.
