Business Trip to Daman

One of the the most comfortable places to stay in Daman.
I am a regular here it’s a home away from home.
The best food in Daman !! The pizzas are absolutely amazing. The staff is very nice. They have just started a new restaurant which is superb the view, the food and cocktails are a must try. Probably one of the best restaurants in Daman

“Clean and Well-Located, but Overpriced for the Room Size”

Positive:
Polite and courteous front desk staff. Food quality was good, though slightly expensive. Excellent cleanliness standards. Convenient location.
Negative:
Rooms are very small considering the tariff of ₹6,000. Significant noise disturbance during the afternoon.
Overall Comments:
I am giving 3 stars mainly due to the high room tariff relative to the room size. While most of the staff were polite and helpful, one staff member during breakfast displayed an unprofessional attitude. My order was delayed significantly, and when I eventually canceled it due to poor service, there was no concern or apology from his side. This negatively impacted the overall experience.

It was a good experience

Rooms and hotel feel like we are in very old times. Unused space in hotel room. The rooms are not modern but the best thing about the room was sea view. You can enjoy the sunset and sunrise rise from the room checkout when people are crowding the place and plan accordingly. Restaurant is amazing as well. Sea view so the food is enjoyable and very tasty. Live music in night. So even if it seemed old, I would definitely stay again.

Nice sea view from executive rooms

Ocean Inn hotel is bank opposite devka beach and we get nice sea view from their executive rooms. We had been here on the Diwali weekend and the whole place was full due to on season. We can see the beautiful promenade too from the windows. We has booked 3 executive sea facing rooms for a total of 7 guests. The hotel is good and rooms are spacious, however few things the management should address is cleanliness, we reached late though the rooms were said to be ready there was sand at many areas, had to call housekeeping to get it cleaned. The next thing is the lift, dosent seem to be maintained, it stopped working and never started until we were at the property, imagine how difficult it can be for senior citizens. Swimming pool is certainly missing, which would have been such great fun. The restaurant ambience is superb and it is also sea facing. Food is quality and taste is also very good, the breakfast spread was good enough and all the items were well made. Wifi was sporadically working, so we used our mobile data only. Overall an ok place to stay, if management addresses these small issues should be fun place to stay.

Unpleasant experience...

Had booked this hotel & had to cancel within 2 hours, which happened first time ever.
Pros
- closer to sea
- clean & decent room
Cons
- no privacy (amplifies noise in corridor/next room)
- the seashore view is littered & dirty
- insensitive & fraudulent management
- bad food
Hotel accepted booking through MakeMyTrip even when construction work was going on. Management did not have courtesy to notify guests upfront, didn't even inform at the time of check-in.
That was right in front of our room window & the noise of stone cutting as well as noise in the corridor was too much especially when we had travelled 4+ hours first time.
After complaining also had to follow up twice to get a holding response.
Daman sea as well as most of the coast line is murky & dirty so do not get allured by sea view hotel (like we did). You can put little extra & book in Deltin or similar which was well worth. My limited experience with food was not so good. Chilli Chicken was doughy & full of ajinomoto aka msg.
Avoid at all cost if you are travelling for piece of mind & relaxation.
