Pathetic and Horrible Experience – Never Stay Here!
This so-called “resort” in Kodaikanal is one of the most pathetic places we have ever stayed in. We had booked the suite rooms, and to our shock, the beds and bed sheets were smelling of dust as if they hadn’t been used or cleaned for ages.
The housekeeping staff were an absolute disgrace. They were openly speaking in Malayalam and even passing vulgar sexual jokes about guests right in front of us. When questioned, one of them shamelessly denied it instead of apologizing. This kind of behavior is disgusting and unacceptable in any place, especially in a family-friendly tourist spot.
The food was beyond horrible. The first day, we ordered Schezwan fried rice and chicken curry. What we got was a plate full of raw spices and red chilli powder with zero taste — completely inedible. We had to survive on plain rice and dal. The same nonsense repeated with egg curry and other dishes. When we gave feedback, they stayed quiet, but later we overheard them mocking us in Tamil, saying, “They come only 2 days in a year, and we should cook good food for them it seems.” Such an unprofessional and arrogant attitude!
To make things worse, when we extended our stay by one more day, they asked us to pay by QR code. No bill, no receipt was provided, leaving us suspicious whether the money even went to the resort or directly to one of the shady staff members.
The entire bunch of staff here are weird, prejudiced, and have a filthy mindset. They look at you with such negativity, as if every guest has only come here for sex. At one point, they were even mocking and describing sexual positions while my in-laws and my child were standing right there waiting for the room. This was the most humiliating and disgusting experience we have ever faced in any resort.
This place is a total disgrace to hospitality. The staff are not just untrained but downright perverted and shameless. Avoid this resort at all costs.

Amazing valley views; peaceful and serene place
The place is located a little outside of the hustle bustle of Kodaikanal. The location is amazing and you get to see the valley from almost all the rooms. The rooms were good - suite was spacious and nice but the balcony was small. The other room on the above floor was a little small but the views were amazing and the balcony was huge. The food is average; staff is very cooperative and friendly. Overall recommend this place.

Not the same as the website pic
First time to kodaikanal, booked 2nights at warmth Hill crest which is 4-star by our travel agent. Hotel location is far off from the town. We got a shock of the state of the room which is not the same as the website. Run down. We checked out the next day.

Resort overlooking the valley
Warmth Hill Crest is a resort style hotel away from the hustle bustle of Kodaikanal town. Ideal for couples and travelers who want a relax in quiet surroundings. Be prepared for an off road experience for the last 2 Kms with climb but not hard. You will pass through eucalyptus trees to reach the property. Each room faces the valley. The staff of the hotel led by Mr. Arun were great and took care of our needs. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty with good variety. We were there for 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would greatly recommend this property and will keep this as our first preference.
