In a few words to book if you have to spend a few days in Jaisalmer.

Very nice hotel, lots of class, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very smiling and dedicated staff
I particularly enjoyed the massages, the pool, our room and the roof top with views of the citadel

The Gulaal is no gulag!

We arrived at The Gulaal during a 2 week road trip around Rajasthan. We were ill and were shown straight to our room, made comfortable (someone put me to bed!), and staff were on hand to send a doctor if we needed one. We were made to feel safe when in such a vulnerable position. Amazing care and hospitality were shown to us. The hotel itself is very beautiful with lots of artifacts and photos and the room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. Pool was very clean (cleaned twice daily), well organised and a lovely cool spot on a hot afternoon. Views of the fort were incredible, and the loveliest of staff! A good glass of gin and tonic served! Breakfast and general menu could be reviewed to offer a little more. Do not be put off by the drive into the hotel, what you will see is just how local neighbourhoods. Overall a firm 10/10!

Highly recommended

Spent two days with family, lovely experience and front desk is very helpful.
Breakfast was fantastic with good food options.
Room was spacious and clean.

Magnificent hotel

Very pleasant hotel, very beautiful and very clean.
I agree with the other reviews, the staff is very professional, attentive, and kind.
We slept very well, it is quiet and relaxing, and the pool also allows you to have a good time, and the restaurant is very good.
I really recommend this hotel to you.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area close to the historical center of Jaisalmer. Rooms are amazing, very comfortable and great decoration. Very nice bathroom. The hotel has a beautiful pool great to relax after visiting the city especially during the hot months. The best of all are the staff. Super friendly and ready to help for anything.
