Great little place!

This is a super little hotel with fabulous food and excellent staff. Brilliant value for money, the rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. It is right on the beach, very quiet and relaxing. The staff and food make this place a little hidden gem. Jamal, Roy, Sadam, Sheru and Vicas, (hope I have spelt their names correctly) made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

Poor service

Very disappointing stay at Anthys Guest House. We booked for 3 days for 3 persons, but the room only had beds and no proper table or basic furniture. The bathroom condition was poor and not maintained well.
The restaurant was also overpriced — a small bottle of Kingfisher beer was charged at Rs. 180. The worst part was the rude behavior from the restaurant manager. On the morning of checkout (3rd day), when we asked for drinking water, he said “checkout day no free water.” Very unprofessional and unfriendly hospitality.
Another bad experience happened when we asked where to wash our hands. The staff opened an outdoor ground tap and expected us to wash there. I said we could not wash properly there because water would splash and wet our clothes. Later we found there was actually a washroom behind, but the staff never guided us or informed us about it.
Overall, poor service, rude staff, overpriced restaurant, and uncomfortable stay. Would not recommend this place.

Great location

This is in an excellent location right on the beach. Rooms are a reasonable size with comfortable beds.
Negative points:
You have to request room cleaning and towel change.
No refrigerator in room.
Kettle only on request.
Tandoori oven is not in use, so limits what is available on the menu.
All said we had a great experience.

Avoid this place. Totally bot worth it

One of the worst experiences in goa ever. The rooms were not at all worth the price. They were dirty. Bathrooms too small and not at all designed ergonomically. None of the Bathroom fittings had any pressure.
One of the staff members misbehaved when we complained about AC not working in one of the rooms. He screamed at me and blamed me for damaging the AC with the remote. Which another staff members corrected in 2 mins after we complained of the first staff members.
Definitely won't recommend anyone booking this one

Welcoming & Relaxing Beach Experience

Excellent Location almost right on the beach, yet with drive in parking from connecting from the road behind. Cottage wood villas are comfortable with very pretty Gardens. Mahendra was very welcoming & always helpful!
Special mention for Shahrukh- attentive to guests needs...Gary for Housekeeping...and steward Roy too...
All in all a lovely relaxing chilled week!
Repeated, and surely will repeat again!
