On the way to Spiti

A good stay at kalpa, its situated near main market of kalpa and Narayan Nagini Devi temple. We a get view of kinnaur kailash. Service was good and food was tasty.

Everything was really well maintained, rooms were clean, washroom well maintained, the corner balcony was just star, but the room windows, the front and the left one made us feel just aw stuck, Kalpa though has its own beauty undoubtedly, and this hotel makes it complete. If you get a chance to the talk to the owner do so, he is a one of a kind person, very humble and soft spoken. Also the complete staff was too good at their services. All in all we had such an amazing experience, so thanks so much.

Heavenly experience

Waking up to the view of the majestic snow clad Mt. Kinner Kailash from your window is something of a lifetime experience. The property ensures you have a memorable stay with their utmost hospitality.
The executive rooms are great with bed warmers to keep you warm in the cold nights Of December.
Wish to enjoy the mighty mountains view and the valley just from your window, then there is no other best alternative if not this property.
You meet the humble hard working people, who arranges for all your basic needs even during the harsh winter days, from water to food; they ensure you have a worthy stay in their property.
Visiting Kapla, then staying in Kalpa Deshang is must to make the journey truly worthy.

My worst stay ever.

This is the worst “hotel” I have ever stayed in. This hotel should be really considered as a home stay. Even the home stays are better now days than this “hotel”.
We were absolutely lied about the rooms. They aren’t like you see in their website. Firstly, while entering the room, an extremely weird and suffocating smell hits me which causes a mix feeling of headache and suffocation. The rooms had no good facility. No TV no Wi-Fi but in their page they have listed Wi-Fi and Tv in their room amenities. The washrooms are absolutely nightmare. There are no toiletries and not well maintained washrooms. And the worst part, there is a window in the washroom which is not properly covered and anyone can easily peak in through the window and see you. There is no proper ventilation in the room which makes u feel suffocated. The good part is the bed sheets and blankets are well cleaned and have a neutral smell. We weren’t provided any kind of heating equipment for comfort. We stayed in the best room available which costed us ₹5000 for 1 night.
The staff was good. We had a good time with the owner on the terrace which had a beautiful view. The staff is supporting and kind.
The area around the hotel is extremely tight. The roads to the hotel are soo small and tight that only an experienced driver can drive and reach the “hotel”
The food was okay okay and home like. The chefs aren’t that skilled. They have added a lot of things in their menu which is not actually available, just for show.
I recommend not staying at this hotel at any costs especially with your family. It could be your worst stay ever. This was a honest review and I am not payed or anything to write this. Everything was based on my experience. Thanks
