Amazing location and cool environment, perfect for family and friends outing in the lap of nature beauty. I would love to visit again...very cordial staff.

a bit of heaven
A beautiful resort, sparkling clean, rooms are recently renovated with so much thought and attention to detail, very soothing colours and so comfortable. Its just off the main road so its easy to reach and quiet too, you can enjoy all facilities like pool, sports and tasty food at the restaurant, chef Ratan is simply superb - coorgi dishes and north Indian dishes.
the team is always smiling and attentive. Smitha guided us well. you can buy their own brand of masalas and fresh coffee in a little shop at the resort. I will totally recommend this resort for a get away and also for parties and family get togethers and celebrations

Must visit in coorg
Had a wonderful time with the team at palmera .The entire staff were extremely courteous, helpful and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. Special mention to Akarsh ,Pavan, abhishek and Sathish for all their efforts for a smooth experience.

A banquets venue with some rooms
This is basically a banquets venue with some rooms. If you visit on a weekend, there is bound to be some wedding or party, and you will be totally ignored.
What went well for us:
1. Was close to the main road, so we could order in from Swiggy or Zomato
2. Attractions like Nisargadhama and Dubare elephant camp were close by
What didn't go well:
1. The location itself is like a proper town, and away from all greenery and hilly region of the Coorg we know of. It's more or less like a resort around 20 kms from Bangalore. It just doesn't have the vibe of estates of Coorg. So driving 200+ kms to stay at a Bangalore-like resort is a total waste!
2. The resort prioritizes only banquet guests. So much so, that they constantly kept harassing me to move my car here and there, so that their wedding guests could be entertained. The tipping point was on the day of our departure. The resort had a wedding party and they woke me up from my bed to remove my car from the usual car parking space and made me park in the corner of a field. And then let the guests park all around my car, leaving me no space to remove my car. It was a massive struggle to even leave the resort!
3. The plates they gave us to eat were stinking so badly. The staff just didnt know what to do. We finally got detergent from them and cleaned them using our own scrubber.
4. The windows were so shabby that the noise of the AC external unit running one floor below was such a nuisance whole night. And they made the AC run all night in am empty room, because they had painted the room and wanted the smell to escape!!
5. The resort is mostly occupied by bachelors and groups of friends. And there is zero restriction on drunken revelry by bachelors all night. Right outside our door, in the corridor, there were a group of drunken men who were partying until 3am without any concern for families. Our sleep was totally ruined on both days we stayed there.
Our long awaited holiday to Coorg was completely spoiled by the choice we made. And we made this choice believing reviews here and on Google. If you are wanting a family friendly place to relax, avoid this resort like plague!

Had a very pleasant stay . The resort staff are super friendly to help you with all the request.
The resort also provides a nice home brewed wine collection , especially the bird eye chillie wine is a must try.
Akarsh and pavan were very helpful .
