Best staycation at Sanidhya beach resort Kihim
Best and excellent staycation place, amazing, delicious, & hygienic food, homely atmosphere, hygienic place, good service, polite staff, serene atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery, perfect place for a stay with friends/ family/ solo traveler

Delicious food, decent rooms
Sanidhya is more of a homestay. They serve delicious seafood and are amenable to taking requests for guests. Service is also good. The rooms were clean. The beach is around 5-8 mins walk away from this place. The grounds are a little cluttered, but overall a good stay near the beach.

Family friendly resort with great host and food
Summary: This can be best of stays in Kihim area. Once here your time will slow down and will feel relaxed. Hosts are gracious and very accommodating. Home made fresh made to cook food is served be it for small kids or adults they will prepare as you want.
How did we shortlisted this?
Ans: We were looking out for Kashid earlier but its been far away from Mandwa jetty we dropped it and started searching in Kihim. Alibaug was never the option reason being is very much crowded and it does not give any beach feeling considering it has only wet blackish sand.
How to reach here?
We reached here by taking jetty from Gateway of India to Mandwa and from Mandwa jetty port to resort direct auto costing us 350 Rs.
Booking exp.: We made booking via their website and opted for breakfast only option. I would suggest go with all meal plan option as you wont find any restaurants in Kihim area one needs to visit Alibaug for it. Almost all the resort or homestays in Kihim serve you home made food so opt for it.
Property and stay:
Property is neither too big or small. We were provided A/C room with double bed having amenities like fridge, hot water maker, toiletries, tissues, tea, coffee supplies and 1 complementary water bottle per day. They have also kept water coolers at few place from where you can refill the bottle if you want. Rooms are clean.Once we reached we were greeted by host and then directly taken to out room. Formalities like filling form and id card copy start once you are settled which is quick to complete. Property has ample greenery and quite atmosphere. You will feel relaxed. They have 4 swings and 2 slides so small kids can play around. Few adult swings. Why should kids have all the fun? They also have small pool which is well maintained. Property is maintained well and kept clean all the times.
Food:
Top notch!
We had veg and non veg thalis. They server freshly made home cook food. We need to tell them our prefrences 2-3 hrs in advance. I would suggest to opt for fish thali rather than chicken thali. With food they also give side dishes like achar and papad. Their mango achar was too yum so we asked them to pack 500gms while leaving the place. Price is reasonable. If you 2-3 families coming in they can also arrange for barbeque. One wont find any homestay serving alcohol. But you can bring from outside and have it. Generally Kihim is the area which is frequented by families all the time so voluntarily they dont sell and you also wont find any shops here. Once has to visit chodni market area to get one. All rooms have their dinning table located outside. There is table available inside the room as well. So food is served at your doorstep rather than common place which is very good.
Near by activities to do: 5 mins walk from resort is Kihim beach. Where ample of seats are available to sit and relax. Kihim beach has both dry and we sands. If you walk 10 min down south you will find small eateries selling tea, coffee, maggie, vada pav and egg items. It also has atv machines to enjoy. We didnt venture into water so cannot say about it.
Worth the price?
Definitely. I will be surely visiting this place again with my friends and family. Especially for their home cook food and hosts. :)

Bad experience
I was there for one day, but my experience was not good, first food was not good, nonveg food, fish was fishy smell was very poor test, chiken was ok. Phone is not working, resort is not up to mark..
