Warm Service

Stayed at the property for a day with my family, The host, Donald was warm and their overall service was nice. The only sorepoint was that there was no mobile network in the room. The rooms had a small conventional box tv which was a let down. The beach is 10 mins walk from the hotel. The offer delicious Chinese food at reasonable rates along with good quantity and quality.

Awsome place

The location is very near to the beach and rooms are very spacious and comfortable.
The owner is very helpful and they also have contacts for scuba diving and water sports.
Must book if visiting Malvan.

Hospitality stay

Serina house is situated right next lane to malwan beach.. Near sindudurg fort.. Awesome stay.. Hospitality is the best.. Just ring the bell anytime.. Uncle will be there.. Uncles son Donald is a young boy but down to earth.. Room and toilets were clean and we ordered breakfast and dinner and the quantity and quality was great. Love to visit serina house again..

Fully Satisfied

Serina House
We would highly recommend anyone to stay here if planning to visit tarkarli or malvan, because:
• It's very near to malvan beach where we did water sports. It's cheap and better here than devbaug.
• Tarkarli is only 4kms from this place.
• Owners of Serina house has also arranged activa for us for 2 days.
• Family here is very welcoming & helping.
• If you want home made food, aunty can make you that. We enjoyed homemade breakfast from her both the days
• Rooms are clean and we booked at very affordable rates.
• They also guided us for the whole trip and arranged another room just to keep our bags till we return without charging anything for that.
First time we experinced any home stay and felt completely satisfied. Thank you so much Donald & Family for the pleasing stay.

Fantastic

I was touring India on a bicycle and I found the Serina House hotel towards the quieter, south end of town near the beach and it was excellent. It's a family run sort of place and Donald the manager was almost falling over being helpful, carrying my bags, bringing me a bottle of cold water and later some chai. They even had wifi!
The room was nice and facilities pretty good. I accidentally slept in and ended up staying another day which was great anyway, my hosts bringing me meals, teas, coffees; it was a great place to hang out for a lazy day. I toured around town some more, but preferred the beach and jungle area near where I was staying to the busy town.
