A Place to unwind....
"Camp Hornbill, nestled beside the serene River Khichdi, is a nature lover's paradise! The stay was enriching, with plenty of bird watching, jungle hiking, and delicious organic food. The cottages offer a perfect blend of seclusion and community, and the kids had a blast exploring the surroundings, watching fishes, chasing rabbits, and playing games. Value for money, with top-notch hospitality - what more could you ask for?

Amazing once again
As always hit the road to Kyari to be in Camp Hornbill. Called up Naveen da to get an idea as to what birds to expect. He promised me at least 5 varieties of kingfishers and a couple of owls.
5 varieties they were and that too in very first hour of my arrival. The hospitality is beyond compare and Naveen da's detailed planning makes your stay even more richer.
Looking forward to return again.

An authentic eco-lodge in Jim Corbett National Park.
I have stayed at the Camp Hornbill several times and it is my favourite place in the Corbett landscape.
Camp Hornbill is not a resort, it's a combination of an eco-learning center and wildlife camp, which provides you a comfortable stay in authentic mud cottages and delicious local organic food.
The camp is designed for creating awareness about wildlife conservation and educational purposes. All the naturalists and team members are knowledgeable and will take you for nature walks on beautiful trails.
It is a beautiful place located inside the forest and at the bank of a river. If you are a nature lover, bird watcher, wildlife photographer and looking for a real wildlife experience for your family, this is the place for you.

A quaint getaway amidst nature
Our recent trip to Camp hornbill , Corbett ticked following boxes
✅️ 6-7 hours drive from Gurgaon
✅️ well appointed AC rooms
✅️ pet friendly
✅️ surrounded by wild life
✅️ short and mild treks
With just 2 days and 3 nights in hand this was a perfect get away with our furry son. We started at 4 pm from Gurgaon and reached by 11.30 pm after some breaks.
It's a spacious resort with 17 aesthetically designed cottages. A small stream named Khichdi flows next to the resort. Food is delicious and home style.
Resort arranges following guided activities. Guides have great knowledge of flora and fauna of surrounding areas.
- floating in a 1926 brit made irrigation canal. Check the video to see what fun it was. Even pets can do this activity.
- jungle walks. One of them is in prisitine Pawalgarh just a km from resort. Fun quotient is also high as part of the trek is through knee deep crystal clear river water . We saw fresh tiger marks from night before. And Mr Tiger was probably watching us from the bush
- guided self drive at dusk to spot wild lives. We saw deer and pack of cute jackals.
- bird watching treks.
We drove out at midnight on our own and spotted herd of deer near water bodies. The stream next to resort is great place to dip your feet and your pets to enjoy frolicking in water.
They can arrange safari in seetabani circuit of corbett but we are not safari people
Service in the resort is impeccable and always ready to accommodate any special request.
I would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for short getaway

Great stay amidst nature
We stayed at Camp Hornbill for a night and had a great experience. The camp is located next to a river and in the midst of the Sitabani forest reserve. The mud huts are very spacious and thoughtfully created. There was a nice sit out outside our hut overlooking the river. The food was simple and homely with a lovely taste. There is a plethora of interesting wildlife in and around the camp and Kirpal ji took me around to explore the surrounding wildlife. Fantastic stay overall and an excellent get away in the middle of nature.
