Mountain Shadow Resort Truly Amazing

We group of 30 people visited The Mountain Shadow Resort Igatpuri last weekend it is lauded for its immaculate and spacious rooms, 2 swimming pools, huge lawn for groups, separate activity area includes table tennis pool table, carrom, cycling & many more. The most important is featuring stunning views of mountains, Guests have called out the exceptional service, noting the entire staff's attentiveness contributes significantly to a comfortable stay.
The resort's cleanliness and prime location are consistently praised, as is the vibrant atmosphere, enriched by live music and activities. While the amenities receive high marks, the entire staff of the restaurant, housekeeping, room service is very polite, well mannered specially the restaurant in charge Mr Basu, Head Chef Mr Punit & other staff all are very cooperative. Mr Kushal Tanna the owner of the resort words are less to praise him he personally took care of not only our group but all other guests too. Everyday we get a delicious multi cuisine variety of dishes from morning breakfast, Lunch, High tea & dinner. We enjoyed Live music in the restaurant & all the guests of the resort enjoyed dancing & listening to the songs.

Best place for nature lovers

This is one of the best property I stayed over 3 decades in the 100 km Vicinity of Mumbai. This is the best place for nature lovers. You are with nature all the times with excellent Veg and Jain food. Good indoor games to kill the time in rainy time.

The resort with a Panoramic view of the mountains

This is a scenic resort. The view from this resort is Panoramic. We stayed in the Premium suite Mountain View room. The tents are also good. The resort is serene due to its location inside a village. The staff are polite.
The breakfast buffet is good. In soups Almond Broccoli is a must try. So is the Hot Pot Mexican rice.
Overall a good experience. The best time to visit this resort is during rainy season. The approach road to this resort is narrow. Only one vehicle can pass through the road at a time. We had to reverse our car at times which is a bit challenging.

Holi Weekend Bliss at the Mountain Resort

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Mountain Resort over the Holi weekend. We stayed in one of their luxury tents, and it was the perfect escape. The tent had a lovely wooden rustic feel and was spotlessly clean. It was also well-equipped with all the modern amenities, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the lovely sit-out area, where we could sip tea and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views—total tranquility amidst nature!
The resort offers a variety of recreational activities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The game area with table tennis, carrom, and billiards was a lot of fun, and having two swimming pools was a great bonus—perfect for a dip under the hot sun. They also provided bicycles, which added to the adventure of exploring the area.
As a hardcore non-vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious their vegetarian and Jain food was. Every meal, from breakfast to lunch, high tea, and dinner, was excellent. The flavors were rich, and the variety kept us looking forward to every meal.
Being Holi weekend, the resort went above and beyond with their celebrations. They had organized a vibrant Holi celebration with rain dance, pool dance, and live music, which created a festive and lively atmosphere throughout the evening.
What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality. The staff were always courteous, approachable, and eager to assist with any requests. It truly made the experience feel special.
Overall, our stay was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Whether you're a small family or a larger group, the resort has so much to offer. A perfect getaway in the mountains with nature, adventure, relaxation, and great food!

Definitely worth visting

Located amidst the hills it offers a very beautiful view of the mountains ,well maintained rooms spacious balcony to take in the view and very cooperative staff, they were very accommodative of our requests .Visited in the month of February
