Good location + new rooms in annex

We had probably booked the cheapest room category through booking, fortunately the friendly boss showed us the rooms upstairs. Much better. Partially with a view of the Orchha Fort.
Then he showed us the nigelnagel new rooms in the annex (#501 with window, #502,503 without) and we were fortunate to move here and felt very comfortable. Because it was very cold we immediately got a fan heater in the room.
Short walk (or tuktuk ride) to the sights
A clear recommendation, especially in terms of value for money

Great time at a nice and clean family run hotel in Orchha

I was staying at the hotel run by Aniket and his sympathic family on a solo trip to Orchha in January 25. I was welcomed to a nice and clean room. The breakfast there was homemade and really tasty. Aniket and his family provided me a lot of useful information about the city, helped me to book a train ticket, organise a trip to Jhansi.... additionally the view from the common area on the 2nd floor over Orchha is great..... I had a great stay there and I d like to come again to this place. Thomas - traveller from Germany

Excellent

Location very convenient, you can see walking maximum 15-20 minutes all the most remarkable temples and monuments in Orchha.
Room and bathroom clean.
Staff very helpful and trustworthy.
You can have meals at a very good price and the food was very tasty.
Relationship between quality/price very good.

Amazing Family Run Hotel

Hotel Sunset is an amazing hotel! The best part of my stay was the incredible team who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Starting with check-in, Aniket have made itinerary for Orchha by himself, which is really helpful.
Most importantly Aniket's father is most generous, energetic & humble person.
This is what makes a hotel truly great - feeling at home, especially when you're far from family and loved ones.
Great location, near to most of the site in Orchha, if you wish to walk.
Great view of Ram Raja Temple, Charbhuja Temple and can see nice Sunrise.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friend and family.

Don't hesitate !

An excellent budget hotel with wonderful staff, walking distance from all the sights in Orchha.
Aniket will welcome you with impeccable English and both a friendly and professional attitude. He has put a lot of work in providing guests with an amazing itinerary for sightseeing.
Room was big and clean (I have to point out that the bed linens were one of the cleanest of the trip). Towels, soap and hot water were available in the room. Water bottles and sodas available to buy, as well as some food options.
Aniket's father is wonderful too, helped me booked a tuk-tuk to Jhansi train station at 6am and even got up at that time to make sure everything was OK.
