Best place to stay

One of the best place to stay in shimla, located coar of the heart in shimla ( Mall road) Best control price , neat and clean room. YWCA also doing great work for society. They run many small deploma program to young woman to lead there life with pride.

One of the best hostel in Shimla.

YMCA tourist hostel is one of the best hostel in Shimla. It’s near the church. The best part of the hostel is you can have a best view of Shimla. And the price of the room is 600₹-800₹. One more best part of this YMCA tourist hostel is from the hostel their is a cinema hall it’s around 100 meter away from the hostel. I can say that the YMCA tourist hostel is in the center of Shimla and best place to stay their and had a beautiful experience of the Shimla from the hostel.
It is a good hostel for solo travelers or backpackers. There are two types of accommodation, rooms with common washrooms and rooms with attached washrooms. Morning breakfast is included.

Very unfriendly staff and dirty rooms

This was by far the worst hostel we stayed in. The staff were really grumpy and rude and would kick you out of the social areas at random times. They also didn’t have keys for some rooms so you couldn’t use the facilities. The sheets had holes in and were stained. The hostel was the opposite of all the values of the YMCA. The only good thing I would say is that it’s in an ok location....

Old and classic property

YMCA is an old and reputed name . It has a wondeful chain pan India and the shimla branch is just simply wonderful . The wonderful facilities are on offer and the host of activities in Shimla make a stay with YMCA a wonderful experience

Magical

If anyone is looking to peer into the glorious past of India, look no further than YMCA Shimla; everything about this place is magical, from the wooden panelled snooker room to the orangery with its majestic views.
The rooms are basic and clean but full of character, the views are to die for, staff super friendly/knowledgeable and the location is the best in Shimla, it is also very fairly priced too!
One could imagine a film being filmed there as there is so much character, loads of quirky big functions rooms, it was a real shame we could only stay briefly, I would go back in a heartbeat.
