Thirussur Dass Continental - good
Stayed at Hotel Dass Continental from 27/04/25 to 29/04/25.
This is a business class hotel with 50+ rooms also in a vantage point, in the heart of the city.
The front desk Mr. Gibson was very receptive and was helpful to find a staying place for my driver.
The rooms are good.
The WiFi was available in the rooms with just three users.
The room service was good with a touch of class. The food was ok.
But one unhappy moment in that hotel was “ We received a call from the reception at 10:50pm and asked us to come down to show us the address proof, though we submitted everything in the afternoon when we checked in. “
Other than this incident the staying was peaceful and satisfactory.

When check in from booking on-site Hotels.com , reception wouldn’t acknowledge the pdf with receipt and said we didn’t have the booking , after a long wait they said they have the booking
Also complimentary breakfast wasn’t served inspire stated in the booking

Huge scam!!
Guys please don't go here and don't even recommend this place to anyone. Period!!
These people are sitting there to scam people!!!
Firstly, after checking in on our way to the room, we saw empty beer bottles and leftover foods on the corridor floor. That was lying there for hours! They don't even care to take it.
Secondly the first thing we experienced when we got into the room was the bad smell from toilet which filled the room. When we complained some one came and sprayed airfreshner. That's it!! After sometime the smell came back.
Thirdly, we ordered extra bed which was not even in the room when we got there. And even after we reminded them no one came.
So we had to scold them and then only they send someone who came with an old rusted trolley with an old bed and torn sheets which had very bad smell and lizards were jumping out of the trolley.
Fourth, the airconditioner was so bad in the room, it was so hot all night, we did not get proper sleep.
Fifth, we had some snacks and 2 beer which was in the fridge, which they didn't even say was chargeable neither there was any sign in the room saying it's chargeable.
When we went for check out they showed a sign board and said it's kept in the room which says it's chargeable (No sign board was there in the room saying it's chargeable!!). It's just there fraudulent idea to scam people.
And when we said there was no sign in the room, the guy at front desk started shouting at us!!
These people are sitting there with bad and unprofessional behaviour just to scam people and make money!!!
They don't even provide proper service.
Please don't go here !!!
