Budget Hotel to avoid
The Hotel is situated off a main road. That being said, it is extremely noisy. The windows don't seal completely. There is no respite from the noise. Earplugs can solve that.
But earplugs cannot solve the "less than helpful" front-end staff. Nor can earplugs clean and repair the bathroom. It was indicated that renovations had recently been done. It was not well done in the bathroom, if it was done at all. The 2 towels provided were thin and small. They barely dried a wet body. If you are fortunate enough to have hot water for a shower, the shower stall will fill with water as you shower. The drain is extremely slow. It is a western style bathroom which is its only saving grace.
The king sized bed had clean sheets and provided enough support for a night's sleep. The top sheet that was provided was too narrow to fit widthwise. If placed the other way, it wasn't long enough. The room was cold but there was no way of rectifying that situation.
Based on the price of a room and reviews of the hotel, we expected more. In the 2 weeks of travels in the state of Rajasthan, it was the worst hotel stay we had.
