Worth every penny

On my third attempt over the last one year, I finally managed to book a room in Zade House. Later I learnt that apart from the huge demand, the reason for the Sold Out state is the lack of rooms (only 5) and the tremendous reviews on every travel site.
Zade is rated highly for its cleanliness and service and I must admit it is purely on account of its ever helpful team of Babulal, Prakash and Madhu. The boys are the soul of the place and attend to the guests in a sweet manner. The building is new on the exterior but the interiors have an old world charm with lot of wood work. We booked the room with sit out varandah and it was sizable with a dressing room, a small drawing room and a beautiful varandah with artificial grass and wooden garden furniture. However on account of the incessant rains we could not sit outside. The bathroom too is huge with archaic plumbings which do their job well. Doors are uniquely made of wood frame with glass embedded. Coming to the breakfast it is minimal but tasty. We loved the aloo parathas and the home style masala omelette. One can also opt for poha, bread toast etc. Tea and coffee both are superb and cost a meager 25 per cup full. Coming to the shortcomings, please don't expect toiletries, you need to ask for the soap everyday. Moreover in case of power failure at night the generator is not switched on. Tourist spots may be a bit far off as Zade is located at the entrance of Udaipur. So if you intend to spend your weekend eating and shopping at the adjoining Celebration Mall then this is the place to stay.

Most pathetic place, horrible experience - DO NOT make mistake that i did - relying on other good feedbacks

Location: The last bungalow in the residential area. The balconies will offer a view of plain land and while you can see the celebration mall from the window, the walking distance is not less than 800 meters (you might not want to walk there if you're returning late - due to some part of the road is not very busy, might not be safe).
Property: Refer to the pics. it was very very dirty.
Stay/Comfort/hospitality: The AC and all the lights went off for my room at 01:35 and had to report to the person who was in charge (and was sleeping so nicely). HE checked the MCBs and then told me that he didn't know what happened and what to do. Upon insisting that I can't sleep without any light, AC and fan, I was offered another filthy, smaller room. Even after pointing out, was not offered help to transfer my luggage or even a torch for me to pack the luggage in the dark.
DO NOT expect any help from these folks. Even in the new room, the electricity kept flickering and I couldn't sleep as I felt it was a big risk of loose connection.
Next day, though my breakfast was booked, I wasn't offered breakfast unless I ask for it. I decided to leave the place as early as possible.

I Advice To Stay Here

We have stayed here between 20th - 23rd december 2017. It's really nice place for stay. All staff is very nice n co-operative n specially manager harsh jain is too good. Very polite person n co-operative. I would like to recommend this place.

Quiet place

The hotel is located at the end of a road containing huge posh houses, so the place is very peaceful and quiet. There's a mall within walking distance, which makes it more attractive. The staff are friendly and the food is good.

Worth Staying

Me and my family loved our stay at Zade House. The rooms are so well decorated and maintained. The staff is good and well behaved.You just feel like at home. We had a very comfortable stay at Zade House.
