Wonderful staff

The hotel is beautiful, with a garden in the center, really needed for resting and breathing after a day near the Gangues
. The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable.
Breakfast had everything you asked for. and all the dishes we had for dinner were very tasty
But the best of all is the staff, all of them very polite and willing to help. In reception, dinner room and house-keeping.
Most of all Mr Shailendra Singh, that took care of everything we needed and much more.
Mr Santos and Mr Andiv helped to find train, Hagath the smiling, friendly young man and Radiu, the driver was very nice, with good english, professional and knowledgeable about whatever we asked him from around the city, and very good driver (I hope I didn't mess the names too much)

Dated structure with beautiful facade and garden

A decent hotel overall, with a nice inner garden that represents the best part of the hotel. The restaurant, although quite pretentious, leaves rather cold, so much so that I preferred to eat several times at the hotel bar. Breakfast left me stunned: no espresso even for a fee (and well, elsewhere it is found but is not guaranteed) and assortment reduced to the bone. In particular to avoid sweet doughnuts, fried with oil that has seen better times with an onion aftertaste...
The room in my case wouldn't even have been evil if it had only had a window. The only opening instead gave on a dark and toxic fireplace that made it impossible to ventilate the room and I had to keep the door open on the corridor to change the air in the room... Friendly staff for goodness sake, but the overall judgment is not positive.

Excellent

Excellent service especially the restaurant. Value for money. Rooms were clean and toiletries at disposal. The atmosphere is tranquil and impeccable service. The location is near all necessary facilities.

Beautiful Banaras

The owners treat their guests as family members and event the smallest of needs is taken care of.The manager Mr. Ajay Mishra was extremely courteous n caring he made sure we were comfortable n also provided us with breakfast at 4 in the morning when we were travelling to Ayodhya. We would like to especially appreciate our driver/guide Mr. Rajesh Jaiswal who knows everything about Kashi from the history of the city to all the stories associated with the ghats n Temples . We felt he was god sent who made each and every visit to all the temples very smooth and hassle free.Mr. Rajesh took us for shopping and to the best eating joints of Banaras.
