1 Star – Extremely Rude Staff and Very Poor Guest Experience
I checked in during the morning, left my luggage in the room, and went to work. When I returned in the evening, I requested a water bottle and a basic toiletry kit. After waiting for around 15 minutes with no response, I called the reception twice, but my calls were disconnected.
I then went to the reception, where the staff member responded very rudely, saying, "Can't you see I'm talking to another guest?" I politely explained that I was also a guest and had been trying to reach him by phone. A simple response asking me to wait would have been perfectly acceptable.
Instead, he continued to be disrespectful and said he was the only person handling reception, housekeeping, and other services for a 36-room property. While I understand that being understaffed can be challenging, it does not justify rude behavior toward guests.
When I asked if I should check out because of the poor service, he immediately replied, "Check out." There was no attempt to resolve the issue or even apologize. I felt completely unwelcome and, more importantly, unsafe staying at the property after this interaction.
I checked out immediately and booked another hotel at my own expense.
Hospitality is not just about rooms; it's about how guests are treated. Unfortunately, this property failed on the most basic level of customer service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides proper training to its staff, as no guest should have to go through such an experience.
