Great villa with stunning views
Super nice villa in the hills with an incredible view and private pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, always reachable via whatsapp. Bed is comfy, and there’s a good mosquito (although we didn’t see many bugs). Breakfast was brought to the room and was fresh and delicious. There’s all kinds of amenities (big fridge, stove, toaster) and the bathroom is spacious and has a lovely view of the national park and java from the shower. There’s some construction going about but there was no real noise. We rented a scooter and it was relatively easy to get up and down the hill (but some care and moderation is needed). Great location to also explore west bali national park and go snorkeling. You can go to the Senja restaurant (4 min walk) for some great local Indonesian food.

Not a villa, a (badly) serviced apartment and building site.
The views are stunning, and when it is finished being built this place will be a serene haven. Currently it is an active building sight- which is not advertised anywhere! Labourers could see into our private pool as they constructed units further down the hill which wasn’t ideal. Neither were the irritatingly loud and invasive noise of the angle grinder and drilling that accompanied them from 7 am until after 6pm.
You need a scooter or car (and confidence to navigate the steep dirt track to the unit) because the free shuttle advertised does NOT exist.
In addition there were no wardrobes, place to hang clothes, or working stove top. The furnishings are tatty and old, and our mosquito net was full of old dead mosquitoes and other peoples blood!
If this place was advertised as a serviced apartment with a front desk person who is only available on an ad hoc basis via WhatsApp it would be doing itself a favour.
The best thing about our stay was that they issued a refund for the ten days we didn’t stay for (but paid for in advance) when we chose to move on to a much more affordable, pleasant and accurately advertised hotel.

Amazing villa with good price rates with stunning views.
Amazing clean villa with a stunning view. Very friendly staff and helpful with Google translate. The location is on an mountain to experience real local life on Bali without the massa tourism. Also with great activities in the surroundings.
Recommended to rent a scooter to see surrounding activities such as snorkelling/diving and visiting amazing small bounty islands and also to visit local temples.

One of the best private pool villa in North Bali!
I was here in Bukit Barat Sumberkima for 2 nights from 27 Jan 2020 - 29 Jan 2020.
We stayed at Private Villa Bukit Barat with Private Infinity Pool. The room is more than i expected. It is minimalist, Spacious, Clean, and the outdoor shower area is made me united with nature.
The private oval shape pool will be your favourite spot to spend in the villa all day long, like i did.
The view of the hill and the Gili Putih from the distance is unforgettable. One of the best view i ever had.
Totally love the breakfast, local delicacies like Nasi Goreng and Mi Goreng with the fresh juices are more than enough. And, i had a floating breakfast in my last day! Wohoooo!

Zelfs met wat regen is het paradijs.
Wauw! Dat is het enige wat ik kan uitbrengen na mijn bezoek aan Bukit Barat villa’s. Van het interieur tot het waanzinnige uitzicht tot de kalmerende sfeer en de gezellige avonden in het restaurant. Ik zou iedereen deze plek kunnen aanraden. Het is een plek waar je even volledig je hoofd kunt leeg maken. Dit deed ik door elke dag mijn boek te lezen in de infinity pool waarin ik het gevoel had dat ik in het midden van de vallei zweefde.
Alles is erg schoon en de bedden zijn gemaakt om in geslapen te worden. Het voelde af en toe echt als een sprookje om wakker te worden met dat uitzicht.
Deze plek is perfect voor een verliefd koppel, een groep vrienden, een familie, maar ook als je even in je eentje wilt ontsnappen zoals ik.
Ik heb ooit alleen nog maar zoiets op Instagram voorbij zien komen en nu lag ik er dus zelf. En het steeg boven al mijn verwachtingen uit.
Mijn dank gaat uit naar alle lieve mensen van Sumberkima Hill. Jullie hebben mijn verblijf tot in de puntjes goed verzorgd!
