Nice and quiet

I should stay here for 3 days and I stayed for 5 days. Great location, many good restaurants on the street, many shops and monkey forest are 15 minutes walking.
Yes I had also a lot of ants, and I shared my room with a lizard for 5 days haha, he only showed at night ! But the room was clean, the breakfast served on the balcony was really good too and I was alone almost everytime in the pool, which is also clean. The staff does not have a very good English but they always try to understand and answer :)

Fine room but ants!!

For the price, the room has everything you need. Shower was hot, bed was comfortable, staff are sweet and the view from the balcony was lovely. Unfortunately I'm leaving it 2 stars because I didn't sleep a wink as there were enourmous ants crawling all over my things and the room, including the bed. By the time I left in the morning I'd killed 25. Also felt a bit hoodwinked because i'd actually researched Maple House online and gone to the reception there to ask for a room, but a man came up and asked me if I wanted to view a room and took me to Adi Santia (an entirely DIFFERENT hotel) that was right next door. I didn't realise as it looked right over the Maple House Pool and i'd been waiting in their reception. I guess I should have realised b/c it was cheaper than i thought it was going to be and the rooms looked more old-fashioned than the pictures. Bit cheeky really. Oh well.

Great find in Ubud

Lovely rooms set back from the main road behind a ricepaddy field and lovely pool. The rooms don’t have air con but the fan is very effective. Adi was very accommodating and brings breakfast of your choosing to your balcony at any time!
It was such good value staying here and feels very safe and friendly

Quiet room away from the busy road

I liked my stay here the room was light, big and airy and I couldn't hear the traffic which was a god send. The staff were so sweet. It was nice to have a balcony with a view if a paddy field. Very peaceful. I didn't opt for the breakfast so not sure what it was like but every morning they gave me a flask of hot water on my table on my balcony along with tea coffee and sugar. I would recommend this place to stay if you are right in ubud town and want a bit of peace ! :-)

Five stars

Lovely people, convenient central location, clean rooms, and also kind to the wallet. The rooms overlook a peaceful garden in the backyard which is great to wake up to. Great for travellers on a budget. We were in Ubud for only 2 days and the staff were very helpful, without pushing to sell us anything✌️
