Bali Paradise - Gorgeous, Welcoming, & Comfortable!!!
Alam Bulan is nothing short of paradise! If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to rent this villa for your time in Bali – DO IT!!! Everything about our experience there was perfection, far beyond our hopes and expectations.
The villa itself is simply stunning. Spacious and airy, exquisitely furnished and decorated, comfortable and so very welcoming. It was a pure delight to wake up to such beauty in the morning, and to enjoy delicious cups of coffee while we lounged in front of the infinity pool with its gorgeous and lush tropical backdrop, listening to the chorus of jungle sounds. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious every day. The bedrooms are gorgeous and comfortable, and the bathrooms are large, beautiful, and have everything you could need. It is exactly as it is pictured and described in the listings, except that the reality is even more welcoming, luxurious, beautiful, and comfortable than pictures can convey.
The real treasure of Alam Bulan, however, are the people who staff it. They greet and welcome you so warmly you immediately feel at home. Komang, the house manager, also serves as the driver and guide. We relied on him completely to plan our 5 day stay and it was amazing. Komang is deeply and intimately knowledgeable about the culture, traditions, art, and spirituality of the island and our trip was made by so much richer by how generously he shared his love for Bali with us. Komang seamlessly planned our days around our interests and his recommendations were spot-on. Our trip would have been a very different experience without his guidance and we are so grateful we made the decision to stay at Alam Bulan. Ketoot, the hostess at Alam Bulan, is warm, delightful, and a pure pleasure to interact with. She created the most beautiful breakfasts for us each day and made sure all our needs were met with care and generosity of spirit. Alam Bulan also made sure there was a night guard to keep us extra safe and additional staff to maintain the beautiful gardens and property. We were sad to leave them all – everyone was so kind and welcoming to us, they felt like dear friends.
My only hesitation in writing this review is that I may have failed to convey what an incredible experience our time at the villa was. It is truly everything one could hope for in an island paradise stay.

The best Villa in Ubud
This villa is absolutely magical. The pictures really dont do it justice for how beautiful it is, and theres a separate honeymoon suite and yoga room below it so it is way bigger than the pictures. Aside from the beauty of it, the staff is INCREDIBLE. They really do go above and beyond. They got us drivers, always said yes to our breakfast requests (I even got to help cook one of my favorite dishes), and we even went to do a jewelry making class at the house managers home Village, something we never would have known to do if it wasnt for them. They were really all so kind and warm and welcoming. I cant say enough good things about the villa but ESPECIALLY the staff. If youre coming to Ubud this is the place to stay!!!

Amazing villa and staff
Words cannot express how amazing our stay was. This spacious and beautiful villa is set in the midst of serenity and the gracious staff is truly wonderful. They prepared delicious daily breakfasts (American and Balinese), helped secure laundry services, scheduled on-site massages, and were highly responsive to all requests. They even helped find a doctor to make a house call. We’ve never experienced staff so genuinely eager to accommodate all our needs and requests. Everyone and everything was excellent. I highly recommend Alam Bula villa for your stay in Ubud. It felt like a home away from home. I cannot imagine ever staying anywhere else while on future trips to Ubud.

Paradise!!!
Alam Bulan was the first place we stayed in Ubud. What a beautiful piece of paradise!!!! The kindness and friendliness of everyone at Alam Bulan was amazing. Breakfast was five star, as was the service and the community was so welcoming. Puriana was very knowledgeable & shared so much cultural insight. After 5 days away we went to say goodbye to everyone before we headed back to Australia. It felt like we were saying goodbye to family. We'll miss everyone deeply and was so greatful for them opening their hearts to us and sharing in their culture & way of life. We hope to return someday. Suksma. Sandy, Graeme, Madi & Ryan

5 star service in a paradise setting
Perfection. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the beauty of the villa and its surroundings. It felt like heaven on earth and the Alam Bulan villa team provided an incomparable level of service. They were extremely attentive to our every needs and they surpassed all our expectations. Puriana, the villa manager, has a profound knowledge of Balinese culture and he shared it with us in a very generous way. We were cared like we were family and this made our week so special. We will forever keep this experience in our hearts.
