Best guest house I have stayed

I chose this guest house because of excellent reviews, prime location and very competitive price and I was not disappointed.
In fact it exceeded my expectations.
The highlight of my stay was the conversations I had with Ms Kadek the owner.
Balinese traditions, Hindu religion and spirituality were the topics discussed, something not always experienced.
The room was large and meticulously clean and although very close to the main road, (Jalan Raya Ubud) surprisingly quiet.
Next time in Ubud I will stay there again. Thank you Kadek for your kindness.
Tip for future guests: Ring Kadek and book direct.

Great place in UBUD centre

Kind hosts, clean property, good vegan food options nearby
Unfortunately when I was there we had trouble with my room AC. The host shifted to me to another room but that had inadequate cooling (or took a long time to cool). When I mentioned this to the host and requested her to check if there's something I was missing when it came to operating the remote, she suggested if it was inconvenient for me I could move to another hotel. I took up the offer and moved in two days instead of four days as originally planned. Ubud was unbearably hot those days and without adequate cooling on both days of my stay I was feeling extremely uncomfortable hence i took the offer.
The hostess was a nice person who tried her best to help in any which she could.
Location is no doubt near the centre but that is also a huge pain as there is incessant traffic and noise on the road, it is impossible to even take a walk on the road without fear of being hit by a moving vehicle.
The property itself can be accessed by climbing about 5-6 big steps and while the hosts help with carrying bags, it's a factor to consider while accessing the guest house daily

Best place to stay in Ubud

We stayed here for two nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. Kadek and her family are wonderful hosts, and the home stay is absolutely beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fabulous, and beautifully presented with fresh flowers. Coffee and tea in the room was much appreciated. The location is perfect, centrally located but quiet and peaceful at night. Kadek arranged a transfer to the airport at a very good price, which was much appreciated. We were also taught how to make offerings, and dressed up in traditional dress, it was great learning about Balinese culture from Kadek. I can't recommend this guest house highly enough, and hope to be lucky enough to return in the future.

Great value and fantastic hosts

I stayed there for a few days while waiting for my husband fo arrive in Bali. My room
Was large and simple but comfortable. Air conditioning and enough room
For all my luggage. The hosts is what makes this place special. Kadeck and her sons go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Every time I asked for something they were kind and helpful. The location is also great close to everything. It’s Amazing value for the price you pay. I would stay there again.

Great place

Stayed here for three nights. Basic room, however clean and super friendly staff. Breakfast was great and the location is fine, as well (silent at night and walking distance from the city centre). Very good value. Thanks for a great stay.
