Relaxed resort with gentle souls to care for you.

Situated at one end of the Main Street of Candidasa, Bali Palms is surrounded by delicious, affordable Warungs (Indonesian for restaurants) offering an eclectic mix of western and local dishes. Bali Palms Resort itself has a magnificent pool, newly renovated studio, one and two bedroom apartments plus some hotel room accommodation for those who would rather spend their money having fun. The staff are magnificent and remember you from year to year, it’s like coming home to a place where someone looks after you. Cleaning and gardening staff are constantly going around sweeping up fallen leaves and making the surrounds gorgeous and restful. Tuesdays and Fridays a live band play and people come from all over to listen and dance - they are THAT good! The Sunset Bar offers affordable happy hour cocktails and buckets of Bintang beer so a night out doesn’t break the bank. We’ve been spending two to four weeks here every year for over a decade and will continue as long as we are able to fly!
Candidasa has some fabulous dive sites and white sand beaches and there are many tours available through the resort or just flagging a local driver. His place has the laid back feel of “old Bali”, there is no high rise, shopkeepers don’t hassle you, they offer assistance after you walk into the store. The place abounds with small restaurants and bars, there is an amazing amount of live music from pop and rock to blues, jazz and reggae.
Finally, the government want to raise tourism in the area and are constructing a walkway along the beachfront from one end of town to the other, open only to foot traffic which will make getting around much nicer as the road through is quite busy and the sidewalks are less than perfect?

Bali East coast paradice

We booked for 5 night and stayed for 31.
Bali palms in a friendly welcoming resort with amazing sea views, the biggest and best kept swimming pool I’ve seen in Bali, but the outstanding feature of this resort is its staff. Exceptional service always with a smile, Nothing is too much trouble.
As Arnold once said “I’ll be back”

A five star experience.

An outstanding experience. Staying here was like staying with family. From Pak Komang, the GM, through all the staff - Ketut, Lulu, Kadek, Wayan dll - everything is done professionally and with a generous smile and caring, happy attitude. The location is also brilliant and the pool would have to be the biggest in Candidasa. Highly recommended.

Easy and relaxing

Stayed for 7 days and enjoyed everything. Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar and poolside area were great. Food was top notch at reasonable prices. Quiet area. Highly recommend.

Best Resort on East coast

Komang and staff are THE BEST
Bali Palms are efficient and attentive to any wish you have. We always stay at Bali Palms because it has the best views over the East and to the mountains including Mr Agung. We have been coming to Candidasa for 10 years now and plan to come and stay for 20 more
