Vici and staff were AMAZING! Location perfect!

Vici and his staff did a terrific job. I booked most of my trip through What’s App. The number can be found on the website. The location is great. Very quiet and removed from the main streets and road noise. Anything we needed during our stay, the staff was willing and able to help. There is some construction Nextdoor (welcome to Bali). It’s everywhere. Air conditioning was MAGICAL. Pack light as you can send your laundry to get cleaned for VERY cheap. Private path to Uluwatu cave and paddle out a HUGE plus! No restaurant in house gives you the opportunity to get out and explore the MANY places to eat in Uluwatu. Thanks Vici !!

Beautiful villas, monkeys and surf

Beautiful lodging and grounds. Tricky to find...down narrow road but that makes for super easy access to surf village via well marked jungle path behind villas. Village has everything you need...shopping, food, and the sea. ( Only use path during day as it is not lighted. ) A mini market is less than a 10 minutes walk up main road. Safe to walk around at night. Villas have communal kitchen to use but no restaurant or breakfast service.
Closest restaurant(less than 10 minutes walk) is Ours Home and it is the best. Beautiful and delicious with great wine: Wolf Blass sauvignon blanc.
Large group of monkeys passes thru villas every morning at 6:30.

Beware - avoid Puri Uluwatu if you’re looking for a good night sleep and honest service.

Beware - don’t stay here if you’re looking for a good night sleep and honest service. I’ve been to Bali 7 times and not only the accomodation but also the service and response from Puri Uluwatu Villas is the worst experience I’ve had. The icing on the cake is the hotel won’t refund the cancellation and have been dishonest about it.
I booked a room here looking for a peaceful retreat and good night sleep, I wasn’t expecting a resort but for the price paid, expected a comfortable sleep. 26 windows shared between two adjoining guest rooms, with a bathroom light left on next door light shone through the entire night. Light also shining and noise coming in from all four walls. The nightshift manager knew what the problem would be when I went to see him and patched the windows with bin liners. There was tape residue above the windows I presume from when this had occurred previously. In the morning the manager advised they were unable to cancel the next night booking and that it’s up to booking.com to approve a refund however, this isn’t true. I reached out to booking.com who advised it’s up to the hotel to accept the cancellation (see image) for the following night which Puri Uluwatu declined, and dishonestly put the blame on booking.com.

Spectacular views of the surf!

Spectacular views of the surf with access to the beach via a jungle pathway. We stayed in a one bedroom villa which was spacious, clean and had a very comfy bed. The staff are friendly and they maintain the property very well. I would happily stay here again

Great stay

We were really unsure of taking our 2 youngs kids - 3 years & 7 months to Uluwatu but decided to check it and stay here. We are really glad we did, kids loved the pool and we were able to walk to a nearby place for dinner and walk to the beach and bars / restaurants, we did taxi back at night!!
Liked the relaxed vibe of the place and found our rooms clean and comfortable.
