Nice clean , good

I was first time in erbil , seever is near to downtown and the room is clean and big , nice and calm place to stay. Staffs are friendly . Breakfast is acceptable. Price is acceptable also and negotiable. Nice place for business traveling.can walk from here to citadel

Not worth more than 3 stars

The breakfast is so low quality, rooms are OK. Bathroom was half half with shower box that was not closed well and water was wetting the floor. They don't clean room each day neither add and extra bathroom paper.
Lobby was good, persons are nice.

Weird Hotel

I stayed in this hotel for a week. The first impression was great... then I started noticing weird things.
E.g.: a door to a bathroom opens at 45 degrees and hits the sink. No racks or shelves in the shower cabin: no place for your shampoo, bath gel, etc.
The conference room is located on the 6th floor. My room was on the 4th. I never knew which way the elevator would go - up or down. The arrow always indicated "downwards". Thus, it was always 50/50 chances.
The restaurant works for breakfast, but it does not mean they will serve lunch or dinner. The food quality was not very high. Out of our group at least 3 people got sick (2 of them were local, one - expat). After that we stopped using this restaurant. Hygiene was not the priority for the cook for sure.
Personnel is friendly and always tried to help.
Internet was poor. I could hardly speak with my wife by Viber.
No air conditioning in the hallways, they are always hot. If someone smokes in the hall - you can hardly catch a breath.
Overall impression: lodging - hardly satisfactory, food - unsatisfactorily ( due to hygiene).

I would have rated excellent but Wifi is a bit touch and go...

Stayed a couple of times over a period of a few weeks back in March. The staff are great, they helped us out far beyond what is to be expected. They accommodated our numerous requests with pleasure. The breakfast was good for the area and the free parking was an added bonus.
If it is not critical to have wifi in your room then this is top of the list for Hotels in Erbil.

Tips and Reviews

The hotel is located in a relatively calm area. It is on the edge of a street that hosts several ministries and other governmental buildings. (this could be a bliss or a sin).
Rooms are generally clean, but you will see something that is not functioning. Internet connection (WiFi) is generally bad. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good enough.
No other facilities are present whatsoever. This hotel is good for a one night stay (or two at most) during a business trip. You sleep, take a shower, eat your breakfast then go out...
