A great holiday in Erbil in this wonderful hotel

We visited the Soulmate hotel for the 5th time, stayed 14 days and as always we had a wonderful time. Ghaith and the others took care about everything well and did everything in their power to make our time nice. We will certainly be back!

Unreliable and Stressful Experience – Avoid!"

I booked this hotel in advance and even tried to make a payment, but it seems none of the hotels in Erbil on Booking.com actually accept card payments. To make matters worse, as soon as I was seated on my flight, someone sent me a WhatsApp message saying they didn’t have a room for me if I arrived now — and kept telling me to check my booking.
This last-minute cancellation caused me a lot of stress right before my flight. Very unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sol Mate and our experience

We were in a two-week leave from 24.5.2025 to 8.6.2025 at the Sol Matte Barpell Boulevard Bukhari...The hotel is excellent in all aspects.The reception by the staff, especially Geth Salman and brother Hamza Ismail, and the services of Ken'an Hah and Rami were very good.The buffet was very responsive, and everything he needed to paint immediately felt like you were at home..The rooms are clean and comfortable and removed around the clock..The hotel is located in a strategic area where the beautiful souk and modern kulan are located next to the hotel.

Not recommended sorry not sorry

It’s a 2 star hotel or motel
Unfortunately so disappointed !!
I had booking on booking site for this hotel in gullan area for 38$ for room per night… I’m level 3 genuine so when I reached out the hotel I asked to show me room before checking in I never do that but I was kinda suspicious as they have very a high rate on booking for that price the receptionist show me the room then he told me I will give u this room by same price just cancel on booking …!!! I just remembered day after as it was long trip I was so exhausted that I have booking for same room same price 38$ but he asked me to cancel as he know I would give low rate… when I told him he said u mean I lied with you! unfortunately sounds like yea you were !!so the room itself really not good uncomfortable bed I got sever migraine i was about to cry. bathroom's smell really not cool.after mid night I had sever vomiting and bad health condition as I called receptions 3 times for help no one reply so I went on my foot to there ask for help, some one out of his shift try to help but at end I was clean my messy hasn’t housekeeping even the guy on shift Doesn’t try to see what is going on on his shift … breakfast just okay for that money … the rate on booking is misleading the only thing about place is good LOCATION…I think they can serve much better and u can find many much better hotel for price in same range

Worthy of high rating

Rooms are excellent, staff are very professional & friendly. Location is also brilliant with easy walk to city centre.
I came on motorcycle & my bike was under watch out front by reception staff.
If/when I’m back in Erbil, I’d have no hesitation in staying there again.
