Almost at home and very relaxing.

Really enjoyed our stay in Radisson Blu Athlone , because from the minute we entered the hotel we were greeted with friendliness and made feel very welcome. Our room was ready and available before booking in time and we took the option of checking in online which was very convenient.
A particular mention for Avril who was very helpful and informative after breakfast in telling us the attractions in both the hotel and the town itself. Thanks to all the staff and we would highly recommend the Radisson Blu as a wonderful choice of hotel.
Vincent and family very satisfied.

Disappointed

We were meeting friends there who I don’t see very often. , so We ordered a Plate of mixed sandwiches. ie. Ham and some salad ones and some pastries. (Which we have had in many places. A variety of sandwiches cut in diagonally in quarters and nicely presented.) but not in this Hotel,the waitress informed us they don’t do that. It’s all individual , they were tasteless , the bread certainly wasn’t very fresh, and the selection of pastries was minimal, it’s certainly not the place to meet up with friends

Very Disappointing Overall

Dinner very poor quality food. Awful pizza(slightly burnt base, little topping), medicore steak sandwich.
Waited 10 minutes after I'd ordered a coffee at the bar even though it was not busy.
Relatives staying who we joined for dinner reported loud music from downstairs until 5am! Hotel should flag in which rooms downstairs music etc can be heard. Staff pleasant and helpful especially at Reception.

Great place to stay with lovely staff

Great stay as always.
The staff are really great and attentive. Avril is such a fabulous person to meet first thing in the morning greeting guests at breakfast. Sets you up for a good day ahead!

Excellent stay

I had a really enjoyable stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone. The hotel was comfortable, clean and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
A special mention to Avril in the breakfast area, who was absolutely lovely. She was so friendly, welcoming and attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. Her warm and positive attitude really stood out and made breakfast a pleasure each morning.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend the Radisson Blu Athlone. We’ll certainly be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
