Never judge a book…

A steal at €90.00
We stayed at Horan’s for two blissful nights. Our accommodation was as good as any first class hotel room and not expensive.
Our room was spotlessly clean, all amenities were close by, the staff were polite and helpful and a really good band entertained some very happy customers later in the evening. Our food was well presented, tasty and hot as it should be.
We WILL return to Horans of Baltinglass

A wonderful pub

A wonderful pub situated in Baltinglass great atmosphere between the two half’s of the pub, our server alannah was bubbly and bright addition, brought a strong Irish hospitality vibe which was the cherry on top for my Friends and I on our travel through Ireland.

Lovely - great location

I have stayed here previously and I rate the place very highly, the rooms are great, internet connection is fab and it’s handy to be in the centre of the town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and easily accessible straight up from the pub. Eamon and Maree are great hosts and very helpful, all the staff are equally as good, I would recommend.

Visit

I was there for a overnight stay with my wife. Éamonn the owner had no real time for people. A lot of young people shouting and drinking. Only because it was late. I would have gone somewhere else byee

A nice place to visit

I am a tourist guide in Ireland. The covid-19 outbreak stopped my 2020 season dead in its track, so we decided to take friends and family for an outing to Wicklow.
With groups of tourists I had made short coffee stops in Baltinglass in previous years and always received a friendly welcome. So this time I decided to stop for lunch.
There was ample room for "social distancing", but still there were more than a few customers. Always a good sign.
A few weeks ago my wife and I had a pizza lunch in Dublin. Overpriced and of less than mediocre quality. In contrast, Horans offered an a la carte selection, including pizzas.
The food was excellent, really good value. Salads, pizzas, beef. we enjoyed the food in an old world market town hotel, cozy and not overly modernised.
I have no relationships with this place and this was the first time we stopped here for more than 30 minutes. I can wholeheartedly recommend it and intend to stop there more often with groups if it fits the schedule.
Note that this review applies only to the bar and restaurant, not to the hotel.
