Home away from Home

Stayed family of, 2 teen sons, beautiful vkean comfortable family home B&B, peaceful lovely surroundings, short 5mins in car from skibbereen. Kathleen was a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble, lovely breakfast, lovely to chart to , warm personable lady. Would highly recommend and will stay when in Cork again.

Everyone should stay here.

This was my second stay at this magical residence. Not only lovely ambiance and decor warm and inviting, but P&K Lodge exudes warmth, kindness and the type of hospitality I thought only existed in books. The rooms are charming and spacious; the views are postcard worthy. These hosts are attentive and professional, while still making you feel like an old friend.
Did I mention Kathleen's amazing laugh and Pat's determination to solve whatever IT issue my phone was giving me.
The only reason to leave P&K Lodge is so I can come back againwill be back again next year.

Lovely hosts in this lovely B&B

This B&B is in a lovely quiet location just outside of Skibbereen town. We stayed for 2 nights.
Kathleen and Pat are lovely friendly hosts.
The room and the ensuite were spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable.
Breakfast was freshly cooked and very nice.
Our other host (Abu the dog!) was also very friendly!
We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Very good B&B, warm welcome, room in good condition

A very nice B&B, with reasonable Awards compared to others.
The manager is adorable, polite, interested. His family lives in the house.
The rooms are spacious, with private bathrooms.
Breakfast is perfect, typical of Ireland.
A few games for children are available outside.
Only negative remark, the common areas (entrance, breakfast room) are a bit “impersonal” or “cold”.

What a hidden gem.

What a gem. Really lovely property. Clean and well furnished. Really helpful information in the room for local services. Just off the main road into Skibbereen. Plenty of parking outside. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. They also have a gorgeous dog Abu (he’s very good and stays out of the way when needed) who added to our experience.
The host couldn’t have been more helpful when our flight was late.
Overall a really fantastic stay. Thank you.
