Outstanding

Rather than relying on visual drama, quiet luxury interior design is grounded in the idea that quality is felt before it is consciously noticed, where every material earns its place. The focus shifts away from what instantly captures attention towards what creates a lasting sense of comfort and ease. The spaces here are intentional and the owners have spared nothing in expense quality and detail.
Accidently came across the Victoria for an overnight stay and stayed for two. Shout out to Moira on desk and Stefan in breakfast area. Bar man who hands down shook the best Cosmo we’ve had possibly ever. Thank you for. Lovely stay. Bike hire right next door was a wonderful bonus.

Fantastic staff, gorgeous hotel

The Victoria is a gorgeous boutique hotel with a warm, welcoming staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well-appointed. The restaurant food and drinks are delicious. Moira, at the front desk and Stephan, wait staff, are so friendly! They make you feel like part of the family.

Here the guest is really king

On our trip to Ireland, this was the most beautiful and best hotel all around:
Housed in a very pretty Victorian house with a discreet extension, it offers a beautiful mix of cosiness and modern elegance inside - antique furniture, cosy armchairs and sofas mixed with modern design.
Our room was very large, the huge bed very comfortable and yet firm enough for my back. Here too, classic furniture with modern, colorful colors - you could endure it longer.
Breakfast was particularly good and lovingly prepared.
One evening we also ate in the restaurant - very cozy. The menu is not large and contains not only the classic international hotel, bar and pub classics but also some more exciting alternatives, which we enjoyed very much.
All staff at the hotel were very friendly, accommodating and helpful - and had very good tips for excursions. All this contributes to a very relaxed holiday atmosphere.
The hotel is located just outside the village on the main road between some other - unfortunately very ugly - big hotels and a campsite. But you have a beautiful view of the national park from the restaurant and only have to cross the main road to get on a very nice hiking trail towards Muckross Abbey. In the city you either have to drive 5 minutes or walk about 20 minutes - so everything is feasible.
Apart from that, the hotel is located at the entrance to the national park - some of the most beautiful sights in the area are within a maximum of 15 minutes by car - and at the start of the tour around the Ring of Kerry - an absolute must for all Ireland holidaymakers.

Top class

Absolutely fab, beautiful room and food is top class. Had breakfast & dinner. Staff are extremely friendly & helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel

We loved The Victoria. The hotel is in the perfect location, right across the street from Killarney National Park and walkable to town. The atmosphere is great, nice and quiet and very clean. The breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

Many sincere thanks for your kind review! We take great pride in our breakfast everyday which is freshly cooked to order and served with our homemade bread served straight from the oven, yummy! We like to wave our guests off from the front door knowing that our guests are well fed and watered as they head out for new advenutures!
