Another wonderful stay

This was our third visit to the Silken Thomas and the standards are still as high. We stay for 4 nights each time as we have family who live nearby and stay at Silken Thomas on our annual visit. We have stayed in rooms at three different locations and they were all spacious each with a lovely en suite shower room. One thing I like to have in a hotel room is a table with a mirror and sockets, so that I cn sit and plug my hair tools in to do my hair, the rooms at Silken Thomas all have this facility whereas most chain hotels in the UK do not.
This time our room was above the restaurant, but there were no issues with noise. Everything was lovely and clean and the staff can't do enough for you. The breakfasts are lovely - beautifully cooked and presented and the waiting staff are very attentive. We will be back!

We had a very good stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly during our stay.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was also convenient and the overall experience was very good.
We would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Excellent service

Stayed for 3 nights as we were attending a festival close by.
We stayed in the house across the road which was very quaint. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. Very helpful friendly staff, from reception to restaurant staff . Location was perfect, in the middle of the town Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely stay, some upgrade needed

The room was comfortable but itlred. It didn't have a telephone, mini bar and the views outside the room were of not used parts of the back of the hotel. The rooms were supposed to be non smoking but did smell of smoke.
The staff were incredible and friendly and went above and beyond to help. The hotel is atmospheric and in a great spot in kildare town.
An upgrade and some money spent would push the star rating further
