This cosy, family-run bed and breakfast is set on a working farm, offering a warm welcome for a tranquil, relaxing holiday in the Irish countryside. The magnificent Cliffs of Moher are only four kilometres away, making for a quick drive or a pleasant walk down a country road, and visitors will certainly wish to explore the famous Burren limestone area surrounding the hotel. The nearby town of Doolin is famous for its music, and its local pubs offer live performances nightly. Guests can enjoy tea or coffee on arrival and will feel at home in the comfortable rooms, all en suite with optional television. The bed and breakfast provides a TV lounge where guests can relax and chat after a tiring day of exploring the countryside, as well as a garden and private car park for added convenience. Consummate Host and Experience!

My sister and I stayed with Mary for two nights and had a wonderful experience. She is an exceptional host! We loved our room and breakfast, but the best part is Rocky the dog who greets you every time you come home! The farmhouse is conveniently located near Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher.

Amazing Hosts

Pat and Mary are lovely hosts! Doonagore Farmhouse is in a great location, close to the village of Doolin and. The Cliffs of Moher. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Mary is quite personable and was available if we needed anything. After checking out, we did the cliff walk with Pat. This was absolutely our favorite part of the entire trip to Ireland! Having a local farmer walk you through his land, pointing out the beauty of Ireland’s West Coast, beats dealing with the thousands of tourists at the visitor center. I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful B&B near Cliffs of Moher

We had a one night stay in Doonagore Farm House and were very pleased to be hosted so kindly. Mary was lovely host to us and the accommodation is very comfortable and welcoming. The place is ideally located near Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher and the whereabouts are charming.
The breakfast was delicious, Mary being very attentive.
And the dog was so friendly…

The place to stay in Doolin

The highlight of our trip. Doolin is a wonderful place and Pat & Mary are part of the reason why. Mary is so friendly and accommodating, and the house is wonderful. The rooms, breakfast, freedom to come and go, and of course Rocky the dog. Pat is a Doolin institution, whose Cliff walks are incredible. His knowledge and storytelling is not to be missed. Visit Doolin. Stay with Pat & Mary, take the walking tour, hit the pub, and have the best craic in Ireland.

Pleasant Stay, Generous Host

Was a little concerned after reading the previous review. However, we enjoyed our stay here. We found it clean and roomy and did not encounter any odors at all. The beds were comfortable and the location was peaceful. The bathroom was a little cramped but it was not a problem. We were offered a full Irish breakfast as well as other options, including water. I could not get enough of the yogurt she provided—wish we had that type in the US! Rocky was friendly and we enjoyed playing with him. The day after our stay, I realized I accidentally left my tumbler and Mary was kind enough to mail it to me, at her cost, despite my protests. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
