One night stop over, on our way to Dublin
Clean, tidy, well maintained and a delightful place to stay "off the beaten track". Really quiet location (Valierie, the host, complains of the "traffic" when more than two cars go by!) Beautifully mainainted gardens, and just a lovely little B&B to stop over. The beds were really comfy and the room was clean, tidy and well looked after.
Valerie was super helpful, and a charming host - telling us some great anecdotes of the time the "Saving Private Ryan" crew were staying with her.
Great breakfast too!

Friendly hosts
The B&B was very homely, friendly hosts and a lovely breakfast. The room was compact, but well equipped, grand for a one night stay.
Scoring a 3 as we noticed tan on the underside of the duvet cover the following morning. (Neither of us were wearing tan). It just leaves a bad taste as it appeared that bed linen hadn't been changed from the previous guests.

Perfect stay
Stayed here 17th to 19th of June.
Host Valerie was so nice, room was excellent and so quiet, breakfast was excellent. Couldn't fault this B&B in any way.
Overall experience was excellent and would have no hesitation on staying here again

Overnight stay
Stayed here on recent overnight trip to curracloe and what a super place to stay. Valerie checked me into beautiful ensuite bedroom which had tea, coffee making facilities and included fresh milk and bars. Bed was so comfy. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding, highly recommend it!
We were so thrilled by our stay in Robin hill. The proprietor Deirdre, and all her friendly staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and enjoying our stay. The furniture of the whole B&B is absolutely charming, beautiful, quirky, homely, totally the opposite of generic hotel furniture. Each piece has a story in itself. The bedroom was so pretty and original, the bed extremely comfortable with dream pillows, the bathroom extremely clean and a super shower.The bedroom had all amenities like lots of plugboards and sockets, water and tea making facility, plenty of space to put our clothes, a beautiful wardrobe coming straight from Normandy. The whole lot very clean and spacious. Every bedroom is different, with a lot of character. We had dinner there and we had drinks beforehand in one of the lounges, which was very cosy, again with beautiful and original pieces of furniture. We enjoyed diner afterwards, tapas, which were out of this world. You could genuinely have thought yourself in Spain, they were that good. Deirdre is a fabulous chef. he portions are extremely generous, and there was a huge choice of tapas which catered for every taste. The deserts were absolutely amazing, even though we had barely room for them, but we had to have them! Deirdre and her staff brought a little birthday cake for my husband with 2 candles on it, it was so kind and thoughtful, and the whole didning room sang happy birthday to him! The atmosphere of the place is very relaxed, with beautiful background music. The dining room is very nicely decorated and there is a luxury feel to the place thanks to the white table cloths and the chairs covered by the same material. Deirdre and the staff are very attentive and relaxed at the same time. A real pleasure, really, a very enjoyable experience. The tables were spaced out enough, so that we felt we had our own little private space, just for the two of us. After a wonderful and restful night, we had breakfast. It was really lovely, with so much to choose from, in fact we made it a brunch. I absolutely loved my scrambled eggs with salmon, with little pieces of salmon inside the eggs, delicious! My husband enjoyed the full Irish very much. The china we drank tea in was beautiful, and dainty and I can understand why this is called "Victorian Tea Rooms". I went out in the garden, as the weather was so nice, and there, is a beautiful view of the sea. Lots of lovely comfy seats to sit in and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the garden. We were surprised not to hear cars or noise, or anything, just a very peaceful place to relax. I highly recommend this little heaven of a place, a gem not far from the city center of Cobh.
