A unique experience

Sleeping in a warm and cozy tent in the middle of nowhere is an experience to live. The only thing is the entrance a difficult hair given by the tie rod right in the middle of the entrance (couldn’t you put it in the other direction of the room?)
Comfortable beds and what about the bathroom directly in the tent, a plus not to be underestimated! The toilet is separated only by a curtain, but you get used to it.
If you want to take a shower you have to go outside and go to the shower structure, spacious with changing room in front of everything indoors.
The breakfast made in the dedicated tent, small but comfortable, is varied and has a good choice. You have to choose the shift a priori with the property because the seats are few.

A beautiful experience

This is surely a unique and very special place, surrounded by plain countryside but you can see Strokkur erupting every few minutes in the distance! The yurts are very clean, and comfortable, furnished in a simple style, yet with attention to detail, each with a private toilet and faucet, not to mention the cosy floor heating. The team is very open and welcoming - we felt at home instantaneously...

Very cool experience.
Authentic Yurts! Very peaceful.. Highly recommend.
On-site staff was very friendly and helpful.
We got stuck in a hurricane-type blizzard for several hours. (60 mph wind with 80 mph gusts.) Yurts were fine.

Luxury in a unique tranquil location

Back after two nights in January and I couldn’t believe how fabulous and tranquil this place was.
Our yurt was chic, homely, cosy, warm, and had all the little touches that make it stand out for all the right reasons - the underfloor heating was an added bonus we weren’t aware of and yet made it feel even more homely.
Breakfast was fantastic… everything you could want, even for fussy eaters. The shower was better than ours back home and the heater in the shower room made you feel less like camping and more like a shower room at home.
WiFi was great, streamed a few movies whilst we’re trying our best to stay up for the Northern Lights, the sofa and pillows made it feel like a cosy area to lounge and the bed… a good proper mattress and duvet and my god was it comfy. Best night sleep were had for a very long time.
The fridge was a bonus to store some much needed bits from the supermarket it Selfoss.
Lastly, (as I could go on) having a toilet and sink made it all more private - this yurt has everything you need. Would be back in a flash if we could be.

Very original

Unusually charming accommodation with plenty of comfort. The setting is perfect for finding peace and quiet and viewing the Northern Lights. An impromptu aperitif dinner on site is bound to be romantic.
