Comfortable stay in a well equipped apartment in a fantastic location

We stayed in apartment E on the 2nd floor.
The apartment is located on the next street over from Hallgrimskirkja and so is within 5 minutes walk from the church and Bus stop #8 which makes is extremely convenient for tour pickups and drop offs. It's also very close to an excellent bakery and within walking distance of the main streets.
The apartment itself was nice and came fully equipped with kitchen, lounge and entertainment, plus 2 bedrooms. The temperature in the apartment was always cozy and all the amenities we needed were available. The balcony on the back is also great to have and, thanks to clear weather and a strong solar storm at the time, we were fortunate enough to be able to see the northern lights clearly from it on our last night.
We did find a problem with the tv on the first day but our host fixed that as soon as we reported it and when another issue came up later in the week (our own fault) our host was incredibly helpful and helped us resolve the problem with just a phone call. Bjorn was a star and when we did contact him he was very courteous and helpful.
We had a really enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Excellent, comfortable stay

Excellent location near Hallgrimskirkja & lots of shops & restaurants, with an information pack in the apartment with recommendations.
The apartment is really well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable cosy stay including fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven, microwave & all pots/pans/Crockery to have some meals in the apartment. Basket of Blankets & comfy sofa, DVDs, books & Netflix to relax in apartment (especially when freezing outside).
Lovely mountain view from 3rd floor balcony - worth the stairs.
Checking in/out independently is really easy with emailed instructions.

Great choice for a week in Reykjavík.

Liked · Fabulous apartment in the centre of Reykjavic, which looks exactly like the photos on the website and although being very close to the centre is very quiet. There was excellent communication from the owner before we travelled with details of the door code and key box. The apartment was really comfy, clean and warm (you can turn the radiators on and off to suit via the thermostats on each radiator. We were never cold and only turned the bathroom radiator on when we showered). The apartment comes with with everything you need for your stay. A well equipped kitchen to allow for self catering, we found the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of hot water. This is a top floor flat, so three flights of stairs to carry your bags up, but this was not an issue for us. There is a supermarket about 5 /10 minutes walk away in the high street which is well stocked and reasonably price (Iceland is expensive, especially to eat out, so we self catered each night). It is about a 15 minute walk from the BSI bus terminal where numerous day tours leave from. I would advise booking the Flybus transfer from the airport to the terminal (although I think you can just get a ticket on arrival). We made the mistake of booking the Airport Direct bus, which although an excellent service, does not go into the BSI terminal, but it's own terminal slightly further out. (We therefore got a bit confused as we didn't realise this and had printed out a map from BSI to the apartment. If lost, just head towards the large church, which can easily be seen from all around the city. The apartment is one street down from here!). We have absolutely no complaints about the Nest Apartments, although the key into the flat, the larger of the two keys, does need a bit of wiggling and pushing to get it into the door lock but you will get the hang of it! We were extremely lucky to see the Northern lights from the small balcony one night. The internet connection was very fast for us (we don’t do streaming or video games so can’t comment on how it is for that sort of thing!) and the use of Netflix was a bonus. I can highly recommend these apartments.

Sea and mountain views over Reykjavik

Ideally located within walking distance of the church and many great shops, restaurants, and other places of interest. Very quiet area except for the church bells - which I found to be lovely. The loft apartment boasts a stunning sea and mountain view. The apartment itself is fully equipped and clean with a very large bed and nice-sized bathroom. Having a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine proved very useful. There's even a hoover and hairdryer if needed, with laundry facilities on the bottom floor of the building. It should be noted that there is no lift, only stairs. We were fortunate to see an incredible aurora display on our third night from our personal balcony. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation to others!

Great position, lovely to spend time in, very well managed, would recommend!

We stayed here for three nights with family whilst visiting Reykjavik and the surrounding area. The apartment is really lovely, we had apartment E on the second floor which has a lovely view of the mountains, the sea and a great little balcony to enjoy it from. We even managed to watch the northern lights from the balcony!
The apartment is really very nice inside, very clean, well furnished an decorated, lots of nice furniture and everything you could need for a break. It’s not huge but we were two couples ans other than competing for the bathroom we had more than enough space. The kitchen is really well equipped even with a small dishwasher. The bedrooms are a good size with big beds both of which were really comfortable. The shower in particular is lovely, always hot! Also we visited in January with temperatures reaching -10 and the apartment was always lovely and warm.
The position of this apartment is superb, 5 minutes from a Main Street with bars, restaurants and shops. 2 minutes walk from halgrimskirche and literally 3 doors to the closest little bar. It’s a very quiet street but close to everything. Perfect for what we wanted.
The contact for this apartment was also very good. We had great communication and updates before the visit. Very clear instructions on how to get the keys and get in. We asked for an early checkin and they were happy to oblige. Then during the visit our flights changed and we asked for a late checkout, again, super helpful and very prompt responses.
We had a car during our visit and the parking instructions we were given before arriving were also perfect. We had no issues parking outside the apartment at all.
Overall, this was a great break, the apartment for us was perfect, great position, lovely to spend time in, well managed, what is there not to like! We would come back no question.
