Soggiorno perfetto

We stayed at this hotel for one night, but we had a great time. It's well-located, with nearby attractions including a lake, a waterfall, and a volcanic crater. The hotel is cozy, albeit quite large. The room was clean and very large, with every comfort, including a tea and coffee maker. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was very rich, especially savory. I can say we had a great time. It's a shame there aren't any shops in the area.

Very tasty food at a very reasonable price.

The food is great. Good product very well made with a lot of flavor.
The cauliflower soup was great. It surprised us quite a bit. And the lamb was of very good quality and cooked perfectly. In the end, we ordered the apple pie, which was also just as it should be.
The portions are quite large, ideal after a day of hiking.
The restaurant is very nice and elegant. We really enjoyed this dinner.

The location is great if you head to the North Iceland or the West Fjords. It is also near Grabok Crater and Glanni waterfall. The room was basic and clean. They provided a good buffet breakfast.

Recommend - nice room and great nature

Extremely comfortable and good stay. Staff very helpful and polite. Room and bed good, shower very large and comfortable. Good breakfast and the food in the restaurant very good and does not spoil the environment. Recommend.

Lack of cleanliness, poor breakfast, uncomfortable pushed-together beds.

The location of the accommodation is generally good, and there are sufficient parking spaces available. It is also worth highlighting the friendly and attentive staff.
Unfortunately, the negative impressions clearly outweighed the positive ones for us. Already upon arrival, the facility made a somewhat rundown impression. During check-in, it first had to be verified whether the room had even been cleaned. Despite this check, the cleanliness was unfortunately not satisfactory. There was still dust in the room, the bedding did not seem particularly fresh, and the shower was in a condition that made us want to use it only with flip-flops. The kettle was also visibly worn and not really clean.
The room itself was very stuffy due to the windows that could only be opened a few centimeters. Additionally, the bed offered as a double bed was merely two pushed-together single beds with separate mattresses, which significantly affected sleep comfort.
Unfortunately, the breakfast did not convince us either. The bacon was very dry, the sausages looked unappetizing, and the bread or toast was no longer really fresh. Furthermore, all guests had to take butter and spreads with the same knives, which we view critically from a hygiene perspective.
We found it particularly disappointing that it only became apparent on-site that it is essentially a student dormitory and not a classic hotel. This information should be presented much more transparently at the time of booking.
Overall, the condition, cleanliness, and comfort do not seem to us to be in an appropriate relationship to the price demanded. Based on our experiences, we would not book this accommodation again.
