Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with poor administration
We were a family group of 19 and I was the organiser of the trip. The downside of the hotel is the administration. At every turn they were slow to respond or just did not bother. I am an Italian speaker so this was not a linguistic thing. There was little/no response to emails, whatsapps or the phone. We wanted to eat in the SeeSicily restaurant and were assured it was possible at the time of booking. Eventually after chasing and chasing for confirmation of menu, I was told with 10 days to go that it would be closed that night. At the time of booking, I had to give everyone's full names and dates of birth and allocate rooms. I did so, but when we turned up there was no record of this. This would not have mattered except that we had some members of the family with mobility issues and so had allocated them rooms with no steps or close to the reception and then had to start again in reception discovering which rooms would be suitable etc. The staff were pleasant but out of their depth.
The place is lovely and so worth persevering with but be prepared for administrative glitches.
Someone (and the EU) have poured money into creating a beautiful top end space, but the current administration lets it down and ambitions seem limited to attracting locals rather than travellers from overseas.

The most beautiful village in Italy
An ancient village, among the most beautiful in Italy!
Great food, room with wonderful views, helpful, friendly and welcoming staff.
There is also a wonderful pool with a view and the SPA is truly exceptional and unique, with a spectacular salt cave!
An experience not to be missed in the heart of Sicily.

Warm and refined location, classified as 1 star but in reality we are at the level of a 4 star
When you arrive you seem to open a door and see something surprisingly pleasant, starting from the pool overlooking an immense valley where the colors of the landscape change continuously according to the time of day.
Everything finished and cared for in every detail, from the outside to the inside of the rooms where I found everything I needed such as beautiful view, fridge, Smart tv large, comfortable bed, and nice spacious bathroom, to spend a comfortable stay.
You will also find a spa of the highest standard.
As for the staff, I can only say thank you to everyone, starting with Mario, an excellent host who pleases everyone, seemed to know him forever as well as Pietro , Davide , Sara and the mythical Mrs. Angela that I personally drove a little crazy with the various culinary requests that he was able to satisfy to the maximum.

Houses to the village" faAgirare" the head
Mario is certainly the flagship of all this. If you want to find peace and a great hiding place from the hectic everyday life ," casa al borgo" is for you. Rooms obtained from old mansions become very characteristic suites with careful order and cleanliness. The fascination of nature is assured
