Fabulous Location

This is a lovely, comfortable hotel with friendly owner and staff. The room was large as was the bathroom and very clean. Even had a smal balcony to sit outside and wath the world go by. On edge of Arabba, but only a few minutes walk to everything. Lots of storage space for bikes in the garage. Breakfast was good continental fair. Only wee downside of the stay was the coffee machine, not the best you'll get in Italy. Didn't provide dinner, but there are plenty of options in Arabba and near by. A great base to explore this amazing region.

EYES OPEN TO OFFERS PUBLISHED ON THE INTERNET

Be wary of loquacious offers they publish on various portals. In two families we booked a week's holiday for New Year. After completing the Reservation and entering the credit card details, the order was received: Request for Reservation Cancellation. My refusal was followed by multiple messages "This Reservation has been cancelled due to invalid credit card.". The card was very valid but despite this I followed the instructions in the message and inserted another one. I had the common sense (which the host did not even bother to do...) to phone the property to ask for confirmation. Incredibly I was told by a surprised and stuttering voice that they would never accept my Reservation as "the internet confused the prices.... this morning we were working and the power went out... the prices reported are too low...". Practically they could not cancel the Reservation as the contract did not allow them, they used the trick of a fake credit card problem to get around the obstacle. In summary: I can not express evaluations on the cleanliness of the structure, hotel services, etc.... I report only the abuse suffered then everyone is free to regulate as he wants. Sorry for the Reservation Cancellation (for which I canceled another solution) but at this point I am happy that I will not stay with these people!

Regenerating holiday

The Garni Royal hotel is a bed and breakfast located in the center of Arabba a few meters from the Portavescovo cable car. The structure is nice and made of wood, typical of these areas with lots of flowers outside. We slept in the Tyroler suite in organic Cirmolo, a very clean room completely made of Cirmolo wood which boasts calming properties. The owner Stefano is friendly and helpful, always ready to satisfy the customer's needs. The breakfast is fairly varied.

Absolutely recommended

The structure is in the center of the town, very close to the ski lifts. The room is spacious but above all clean, with a nice bathroom, albeit blind, even equipped with a Jacuzzi tub with chromotherapy. The rooms also appear to have been recently renovated. Extremely comfortable double bed. The varied, standard breakfast, in line with a 3 star rating. The owner is extremely kind, always with a smile and ready to give advice on what to do and where to go. If I really have to find fault, but really nitpicking, I was sorry not to have been notified before that the spa had not been working, apparently for more than a year. Also because I had chosen this structure precisely to take advantage of it. However, the structure is absolutely recommended

Friendly staff, clean hotel, convenient location

A quaint hotel located in the heart of Arabba. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all of our requests and questions about the area. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
The breakfast was filling and the normal style of breakfasts expected in hotels like these (a range of pastries, cereals and sliced meats and cheeses). Most importantly the room was clean, warm and quiet.
I note that they were in the process of renovating the hotel rooms, so some rooms (like ours) had completely new fit-outs, while others (our friends' room) was an older style design/fit-out.
