Stupenda

A XII century original estate passed down the line and still owned by the original family that lives there year round with friendly dogs and cats.
No frills, but if you like to walk bare foot on centuries old cotto,
Amongst portraits of family bishops and other family celebrities, you will appreciate even more the understatement approach of the owners and of the location.
I took advantage of a plentiful bedroom with bathroom.
Surroundings are for you to discover.
You can disconnect and....enjoy bare essentials.

Tranquility and peace

Stayed for two nights, away for the national darts finals... isolated place and a little out of town but adequate if you want to spend time in tranquility and peace... having been there in January we couldn't use the swimming pool. Comfortable rooms all equipped with private kitchen and bathroom…

It’s been consistently wonderful for our family over three visits since openingS

I must admit we didn’t visit in 2021. We visited in 2004, 2007 and 2014 and have seen Villa-I-Bossi through its changes.
Two things have never changed. One is the warm welcome and generous hospitality from Francesca and the wider Albergotti family. The second is the fact that we are staying in a place with 900 years of history. I prefer my history to be authentic and this plus the hospitality Is what we have received has always been consistent.
The food and the setting is superb in my experience but usually we have only dined in for breakfast taking advantage of local towns for late evening meals. It’s great having the gorgeous lawn and pool in the heat of the summer to cool off in and even from the front gate there are wonderful walks to enjoy.
I can’t wait to return

Geweldig verblijf in authentieke Villa I Bossi

We had a wonderful stay in Villa I Bossi and we wish we could've stayed much longer! The lands and property are stunning, as are the pools. The warm family who run the property will take excellent care of you during your stay.
Make sure to take a grand tour through all of the rooms in the building, as the family can tell you all about the history of the property and the family who has lived there for ages. Amazing!
If you love an authentic and special scenery with an amazing story to it, then you should definitely go here!
We will definitely come back here.

living in historical villa

First of all . this is a B&B, so dont expect luxury treatment! But it is a privilage to stay in a such historical place where you can fell and touch centuries old walls, furniture... With a bit of luck or interest the owner Francesca will show you the basement full of surprising items . even exclusive relics. I had a good sleep on a nice bed, the room and other places were clean, breakfast just normal, and everybody whoi I meet in the house was nice and attentive. I also- they are friendly. loved the garden - dont be afraid of the dogs!, neither cats - they are friendly. The pools looked great but it was to cold for a swim. For the best views you should go to the upper pool or to the terrace. So if you want to experience sometihng different, that is the place to go.
