Farmhouse in nature, high quality, very appreciated!

Farmhouse in nature, truly enchanting and quiet. Comfortable and always clean room. Outdoor pool very appreciated, even with shading. Excellent breakfast, varied and abundant, with exquisite products from the farm. Very kind staff. We stopped for dinner two evenings, we ate very well, tasty and digestible dishes. Recommended, we will return!

1999, 15 days of stay. An experience that stayed in our hearts, unforgettable moments, excellent food even back then with Mrs. Maria and her recipes. Claudio, his son, the owner, is very nice and straightforward, and during our stay, he helped make us feel at home.
2026, 7 days. Of stay. We “returned to a friend’s house,” that is the feeling! Just like back then, the welcome was excellent; we stayed in the “Gallo house,” surrounded by silence and cicadas. The staff, whom I remember one by one for their kindness and helpfulness from the morning at breakfast until the evening at dinner. Claudio and his sweet Patrizia, an excellent cook and a person of extraordinary sensitivity and empathy, their sons Filippo and Giacomo, always available for any question—in short, everything contributes to making you experience moments of serenity and relaxation.
I don’t need to describe the quality of the excellent food to you; you will read it in all the other reviews. I have described (just barely) the sensations you will feel! I assure you that it is no small thing.
For us, it was once again an experience that made us happy and with a great desire to return, but we won’t wait that long; on the contrary!!
Thanks for everything to all of YOU, no one excluded!
There is not a single television in any room of the farmhouse! You are surrounded by nature, but if you want, you can go for nice walks, do a little gym, rent an e-bike, or go to the pool.
You are a stone's throw from Spello, Assisi, the sanctuary of Rivotorto, and Santa Maria degli Angeli.

Such a pleasant stay in Umbria

We will remember for a long time our stay in Malvarina, charming farmhouse overlooking the city of Assisi, surrounded by olive groves, very cozy, relaxing, perfect for a romantic stay, with family or friends. The property was kind enough to take us to Perugia airport, after a car accident with our vehicle. And as a bonus, they tolerate pets as long as they comply with some rules of manners from their masters. We again warmly thank Filippo, his dad and all the staff of Malvarina for their professionalism, availability and kindness. We wish you a good continuation and hope to return to your home on a next special occasion... :-) Lisa & Valentino a happy French couple.
