Everything is fine … except for

I must premise that the place is very nice, the room well-organized with a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, nothing to complain about regarding the cleanliness, but the restaurant is absolutely not as it is described. Few dishes, expensive, and when we ask the gentleman who takes the orders if the menu that appears on the site with the wording: alternatively you can find ... exists, he replies in a way that is anything but kind that those are the dishes and that they cannot have 80?!?! as per the list. Furthermore, the last time for dinner is 8:15 PM.
The rest of the staff is polite and kind and it is likely that we will return, but carefully avoiding the restaurant. A pity because it has a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea ....

Excellent

Hotel in a spectacular location just like the photos on the site, ample availability of the owners; vacation booked in the month of March, then canceled for obvious reasons; the availability and kindness found in this hotel were excellent.

Disappointing

The hotel is difficult to access

A farce!!

At the risk of destroying the myth, place to escape! Apart from the spectacular view (this is definitely what you are charged) and the courteous receptionist, everything "else" is a farce and a scam! We booked the restaurant at 20:15, ordered (or requested ) 2 spritz at 20:00 and 20:15 , the waiter came to pick us up to go to the table. I asked him if we had 2 minutes to finish our drink... No negotiation possible!! Poor Service in 1 hour of time. As for the kitchen, horrible and expensive: an octopus, or rather octopus crumbs, and potatoes for 30 €, without any flavor, boiled, perhaps garlic, parsley and olive oil are not ingredients used by the "pseudo" chef of the restaurant? Ditto for rabbit, bland and served in small quantities. The rabbit and the octopus had to be prepared in the same pot to save time. Same price, same recipe, all for 30 €, what a disappointment!! Luckily we had a good bottle of wine. As for Service, regrettable and nonchalant! A priori, it is no longer the kitchen of a few years ago, when the owner was in charge. A garden of vestiges immortalized on some photos decorating the walls! Let’s talk about the owner: he is the one who presents the INVOICE (well seasoned this ) at check out. Malevolent, indifferent, which has nothing to do with the return of customers and presents you with the invoice scrawled on a sheet of paper and counts 2 desserts that you have not taken. And he added in a derogatory gesture while I was communicating our discontent with the quality of the cuisine and Service in general: "Where are you? Ah! French people? "Come on, go back to where you came from!" And you, boss, should go back to your kitchen to pick up the basics! A scene worthy of a movie with Toto.... Except Toto was a lot of fun! Absolutely place to escape. Fortunately, we have just arrived in the region and of course we will not remain on this negative first impression.

Relax in Bergeggi

Fantastic room with sea view,excellent cleanliness,all very relaxante.Il restaurant offers exquisite dishes on an incredible view.
The staff really impeccable.
Highly recommended.
