Excellent experience

We stayed at this campsite for only 4 days, from August 4th to the 8th, in a bungalow with a child of almost 5 years old. Fantastic experience, especially thanks to the entertainers, first and foremost the very young Raffaele, Davide, Letizia, Helena, and Federica, in addition to the head entertainer Lello. Very talented, engaging, always smiling, helpful, and tireless. The campsite's location on the sea is excellent. Minimarket essential but adequate for our needs. Sandra, Ludovica, and Leo.

Beautiful vacation

Simple, well-kept and clean campsite right on the sea, and what a sea. Welcoming, kind and helpful staff. A special thanks to the entertainment team, they were nice, skilled and never intrusive. We will definitely be back.

We have to believe more

Stayed in bungalow with family.All in all discreet thanks to the sea that alone is worth 70% of the holiday
The potential is there but perhaps there is no will to do better.
The village market needs to be improved a lot as well as the uninviting bar with little offer.

Mondial camping Metaponto

I spent a week in a camper at this campsite, located in a very quiet area. However, you need to have a scooter or a car to get around, because there is nothing nearby.
Inside the campsite I found myself discreet: the bathrooms were not very clean and the showers were few compared to the number of guests. Moreover, it is not possible to leave at night or early in the morning, because the gate only opens at 7:00 a.m. : a limitation I had never seen in other campsites.
The campsite has a restaurant: the pizza is good, the fish was not well cooked. Unfortunately there was only one waiter who had to wait tables, clear and prepare: alone he could not manage everything. The other waitress stood at the checkout without helping. Also, no choice of desserts available.
Just right pitches, where tents and campers are attached to each other.

Mondial Metaponto, Italy, camping July 2022.

We spoke on the phone to a lovely person who had really good english and was very welcoming. We didn't meet the lovely young woman after our first day. I hope she got away! The people running the shop were gorgeous and the waiter at the restaurant is a gem.
However, the management/ administration were totally unhelpful and arrogant with it.
Skip this campsite totally unless you like heavy beat music from 10am through to 2am because they won't turn it down. I wrote an email at 00:45 asking why we were listening to bass beat at that time of night; no response.
The loud music was only one part of the nightmare. We needed an email - important document - printed and they refused " No we don't do that"; "Oh no, that is impossible". I had to tease out the information on where we could get it done.
Every campsite we have been in has happily printed documents for us and we would have been happy to pay, but they didn't charge us!
No refrigeration available except at an extortionate pricce - you'd buy a fridge for the cost. Every other campsite we have been in has had refrigeration - fridge and freezer - facilities free of charge.
This is where we learned that a 'family run' campsite has a meaning. This campsite is pure business and for profit only.
A man driving a quad pulled up near us and asked "When are you leaving?" after that we thought we should go within a few days, we were fed up..
The family next door were really friendly, but if they hadn't told us that there was a 'pest control event' that night we would not have known. The woman told us to keep the dog locked into the tent and shut everything down because it wasn't safe. The client certainly does not come first at this site!
So some serious issues here. Beware!
