A beautiful experience

A very pleasant experience at this hotel in Bussolengo, strategically located 20 minutes from Lazise, Lake Garda, Gardaland parks, and Verona. The booking, welcome, and reception service were absolutely impeccable; the staff were kind and well-prepared, showing great courtesy and attention to the customer. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Top-notch breakfast service with a vast buffet selection of both savory and sweet options; from hard-boiled or scrambled eggs to bacon, savory pastries, cheese, and cold cuts, as well as a wide selection of pastries with jams, yogurt, cereals, fruit, and everything of excellent quality.
Absolutely recommended.

Disappointing stay—poor maintenance and unprofessional staff behavior

I recently stayed at Hotel Krystal for a few days and noticed the property feels quite dated. My room had several maintenance issues, including a leaky bathroom faucet and an air conditioning unit that struggled to cool the space.The breakfast area was consistently chaotic, with long lines and unreplenished food stations. Most concerning, however, was the unprofessional behavior of a staff member (a gentleman with a shaved head and a bandana). On two separate occasions during my stay, I witnessed him engaging in loud, argumentative confrontations with other guests in public areas.Between the lack of property upkeep and the stressful environment created by the staff, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Poorly maintained, uncomfortable and not particularly welcoming.

I had a disappointing stay and would not be keen to return.
The most concerning part was an incident I witnessed at breakfast, where a member of the kitchen staff verbally abused a guest using aggressive and inappropriate language. This made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unprofessional.
The room also did not feel properly maintained. Some of the walls were visibly dirty, and I noticed what appeared to be dried spit or staining on one wall, which was unpleasant.
Breakfast was also disappointing. Items such as eggs were often missing, and only scrambled eggs were available. When I asked whether fried eggs were possible, the request was refused. I also found the breakfast environment uncomfortable, as staff seemed to be watching guests closely, which made it feel less relaxed than it should.
There were also some maintenance issues. The lifts did not always seem to operate properly; on a few occasions they appeared to go down when I had selected up, or vice versa. This added to the overall impression that the property was not being well maintained.
Parking was not always available close to the hotel, which added some inconvenience.
During my stay, there was also a serious incident at the kebab shop next door, which was reported in local news. I understand this may not be the hotel’s direct responsibility, but it did affect my overall impression of the immediate area and made the surroundings feel less safe and less pleasant.
Overall, my impression was of a hotel and surrounding area that felt poorly maintained, uncomfortable and not particularly welcoming. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

For those who love parks and the lake

Spacious and clean rooms, abundant sweet and savory breakfast without forgetting those with intolerances, with courteous staff always available to offer valuable advice. Ideal location to reach all the parks of Lake Garda, whether as a couple or with family, with the offer of personalized packages.

TO BE REPEATED ABSOLUTELY

We stayed 2 nights my son and I, with the intention of going to Gardaland. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and fortunately no carpet . Breakfast then, excellent and plentiful in the choice. Really satisfied
